I think im in love with a bad girl name dollie. She is so sexy and pretty, i hope she does more movies than this one. The acting is not natural which consumes the majority of old classics. You would never ever see modern movies where actor's are just playing the part and realism is not there. You know what, for a classic movie, this one is awesome. I can't get enough of watching this show as i have seen it over and over again. sexploitation movies at its BEST! You have romance, murder, and suspense roll up into one package and it spells MUST SEE.

VHS : Victoria & Albert: A Royal Love Affair
The real life of V and A was interesting and complex enough that there was NO need to pretty it up, or remove so much reality for the sake of the screen play.
As many others have noted, the historical inaccuracies are glaring -- to add to those already mentioned --

Victoria was wearing mourning for her dead uncle (the late King) at her first meetings with her council and parliament.

Neither her relationship nor Albert's relationship with their children was accurate, he was much more loving, she was much more remote.

Alice was nearly 19 (and looked a bit older than that) when Albert died -- the actress playing her looked about 14.

Victoria too could have stood a bit more 'padding' in her costumes by 1861. Having given birth to 9 ... Read More

French toast, anyone? I wasn't expecting much when I pulled this from the bargain bin, and later threw it on the dvd player as I was packing some stuff. Pretty soon though I found it hard not to pay attention. After a few of the gut busting laughs this movie put me through, I was pretty much along for the ride with Road Trip! Something like American Pie in it's humor.. Really, there are too many scenes that are just hilarious - it's not high art - it's just good ole fashioned coarse teen humor - some really funny #*&$! in this movie.

VHS : Cobb
Ty Cobb was certainly one of the greatest ballplayers to ever put on cleats, but this film does not him justice. As a historical biopic it falls far short. Cobb comes across without a shred of humanity and is dislikeable from his first appearance. This really isn't a baseball story per se, it's more of a character study with a baseball backdrop. The story starts near the end of Cobb's life as reporter Al Stump is summoned to Cobb's Tahoe hunting lodge to write the life story of the great ball player (all of which is based on a true story and you can find Stump's books on Amazon). The vast majority of the movie is spent on the interplay between Stump and Cobb as Stump (and the audience) discover what kind of man Cobb really is (and it ain't pretty). Throughout the film we get a few vignettes of Cobb's ... Read More
