This is a good movie! When I saw the couple held hostage by the convicts I had the urge to change into a superheroine. Even Kim Possible can put those guys in handcuffs, and take them to jail.Rufus can, bite their nose,so can Ron,Kim's too much of a lady.

I was 5 when it came out, and it instantly became my favorite movie. For some reason, this movie popped into my head the other day, and i decided I had to get it. I can't wait to see it again. I just hope it is as good as I remember it to be.

VHS : Matilda (1996) (Clam)
"Matilda" is about a small girl in a home more interested in making a sleazy buck than thinking about its children. Worse yet, she is sent to a private school led by an abusive former female Olympic shot-put, hammer-throw, and javelin winner.

The good news is that Matilda develops special mind powers that enable her to free her teacher from the abusive principal and recover her home, as well as free herself from her non-caring parents - to be adopted by her wonder teacher.

VHS : Houdini (1998)
This is a TV movie covering the career, life and afterlife of the illusionist Harry Houdini/Ehrich Weiss. It is a romanticized skeletal treatment, covering the basics of the man (raised in poverty, self taught magician, life long mother issues, medium debunker) without any real depth or showing anything new. It is a well done enough production, recreating some of Houdini's daring feats, and the acting is decent (and Johnathon Schaech certainly looks fit enough to pull off Houdini's escapes and high tolerance for pain) but ultimately it is a frame without a portrait, non revealing of the Ehrich behind the Harry.

Favorite Line: "I fell in love with Ehrich Weiss; I put up with Harry Houdini."

7.Cheers, The Best of Sam Malone - Sam's Women / Sam at Eleven starring: Kirstie Alley, Nicholas Colasanto, Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer, Woody Harrelson

This movie was so compelling, I could relate to Terry-Jean's troubles only I never went to prison, but my life was pretty bad growing up! This movie shows that despite the worst circumstances, you can overcome anything if you are strong enough to fight for yourself! I only wish they would make a D.V.D to keep up with the new technology, I can't wait to get this movie, I just ordered it, and I haven't seen it since 1988 on television, I was oly thirteen, and I'm just turning thirty this summer so I know I can really understand this movie better than I did as a child, I'm sure I missed a lot of important things That perhaps I didn't understand at the time. Anyone considering seeing this movie will not be disapointed.......

I saw this when i was a kid and i remember that it was really good. The rose colored glasses of my youth did not tint this movie at all, it is still in my top 20 favorite movies of all time.

VHS : Cheers, Vol. 4 - The Homicidal Ham / They Call Me Mayday
I personally am an avid fan of cheers.I Think these Episodes were some of the best in the second season. The humor in "homocidal ham" sort of represented that of cheers.I give Volume four of cheers a 5, for it's overall humor, and quality.
