This is simply one of THE Best Christmas Movies ever made. We watch this movie at least five times every Christmas Season. And now we can finally watch it in full HD DVD! If you want it buy it from Amazon though because it is almost impossible to find anywhere else. And if you like Christmas Comedies good for the whole family try ELF too!

zero stars. As a standalone B-movie, it's very mediocre, but watchable. Low expectations are richly rewarded here. If you read Wambaugh's book, you will loathe the movie because it betrays your hopes and expectations so badly. No wonder Wambaugh wanted to have his name removed from the credits. The movie tears all the flesh away from his excellent book and keeps just a few bones. If you have not read the book, but "kinda" liked the movie, read the book. You are in for a huge treat. If you read the book, but have not seen the movie, that's as far as you need go. Or read the book again.

This is, quite simply, the best golf movie ever made. Yes, it is low budget in the early days of HBO films, but it is a well-acted, well-written movie. Randy Quaid turns in a brilliant performance. The supporting cast is equally skilled. The writing is superb. This movie OUGHT to be released on DVD. A better cast, top to bottom, than Tin Cup (with apologies to Cheech Marin). THE golf movie.

Moving is one of my favorite Richard Pryor movies, and until it comes out on DVD, I highly recommend buying this tape so you can enjoy this comedy classic! Plus, Dana Carvey, Dave Thomas, and Randy Quaid are a riot here too!

This movie is one of my favorites. It runs 4 hours so you have to have time available to view it all. The show starts out showing some of the horrors of the holocaust and some of the death and destruction caused by World War II. Let the squeamish beware. No question, this miniseries comes from the early-1980's and is limited by special effects and budget available at the time. By comparison, "Hitler: The Rise of Evil," from 2003, is as good if not better. Still, if one pays attention to the main story and the performances given by the many featured actors, "Inside the Third Reich" is worth anyone's time. The cast is a star-studded one. Rutger Hauer plays Albert Speer and John Gielgud plays his father. Derek Jacobi is Adolph Hitler and Blythe Danner plays Speer's wife, Marguerite. ... Read More
