Having called a month-long time out on princess stuff, I ordered this hoping but not really believing it would replace Little Mermaid or Cinderella in my daughter's mind. But she loves it. She doesn't get to watch the whole thing often but I occasionally just cue up the songs and let her watch, sing along and dance to those. Definitely a solid choice for any home dvd collection.

Robin Hood (Most Wanted Edition) Not known as one of Disney's better animated features, but still quite watchable. The repetitive animation reminds me of 1970s cartoon "shortcuts" that were common - look at the animal parade in the opening credits. After a side-by-side comparison, I think the movie is better framed by the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio. Still, it's hard not to like a Disney animated feature with Phil Harris' voice.

I bought this for my granddaughter along with two other videos, this one is her favorite. She is only two but she knows what a funny movie is.

I was a little girl when my family saw this movie on a Friday night at the Drive-in theater when it was first released, way back when. The next morning Dad found a kennel in Santa Ana, CA that had basenji's and we went to check them out. Came home that day with a petite 6 month old red and white girl. 2 years later we added a Tri-colored boy to the family. I fell madly in love with them and always wanted one but could never afford the high price tag. Last summer I discovered the Basenji Rescue and Transport website on the internet and started watching for a red and white rescue basenji female. Loved it. My family is from Alaska and I bought them all a copy, because it pulls "real" Alaskan attributes into the movie. Entertaining for adults and educational for children without them even knowing it. WOW!

James Cagney shines as a charming but corrupt rural politician trying to deceive the voters. Barbara Hale is great as his sweet wife who is clueless about how dishonest her husband really is. It isn't Cagney's best film, but it is entertaining, and the performances are excellent.
