VHS : Jane Fonda's Complete Workout
I used this workout when I was a beginner excerciser, and it was very challenging! But, now I consider myself at a high intermediate level, I pulled this one out of the collection, and the weights, and the push-ups, and the lower body work are too short and are not a challenge, the aerobics will make you break a sweat, and raise your heart rate. But not much of a challenge. So overally this video is for beginners only, if you are not a begginer, but want weight work, try Jane Fonda's Toning and Shaping/Workout with Weights video, and alternate it with a video with more challenging aerobics such as the Lean Routine, which has an hour of aerobics with the option of High or Low impact or the New workout, which has 12/16 minutes of aerobics that is very very high impact.

Well as a former US Army Tanker, I am writing this from that view. I had the privilege of serving with good soldiers, who on one occassion watched this movie together, as a company. The critisicm never ended.
I do like the actors in this movie, but the background, tactics and overall unit organizations shown in this picture, were pitiful. I can understand the equipment that had to be used to film this picture, but the dialogue could of been much more based on military reality. I feel that all the sides protrayed in this picture were not done proper justice. They were protrayed as a bunch of amatuers, fighting a war, like hollywood amatuers playing at war. This picture was put together like a bunch of pix up stix, that were put up half way and forgotten.

Films buffs will want to know that the Spanish R2 'Mundo Futuro' DVD is missing footage. There are four cuts totaling 2.5 minutes of missing footage:

1. The pre-credit sequence is missing.
2. Some dialoge during the press invite, round table scene.
3. When Peter Fonda explores the remains of Westworld.
4. Dialogue at the very end.

Until a better version is released, your best bet is to pick up the R2 UK full frame edition which includes all of the above cuts.

I think this movie good. I wish all of you can see this movie. It is a very good movie. This movie was a lot of fun. I liked watching this movie when I watched it. Well, it really was funny so I thought I would see if anybody really read these reviews. I liked Jane Fonda back in 1966 or at least the movies she was making around that time. This is not like SUNDAY IN NEW YORK, my favorite with her, but you should like this movie anyway.

VHS : Advise and Consent
Imagine a film where dialogue was so taut and so well spoken that it became the central conveyor of the plot. That sort of film lives mostly in yesteryear, and it lives magnificently in "Advise and Consent", a riveting examination of the ongoing struggle between the basest instincts and noblest ideals of our elected officials.

The plot line is keyed to the nomination for high public office of a former University of Chicago professor accused of consorting with radicals. (Coming off the 2008 U.S. presidential election, does this sound familiar?) The nomination sets off the usual legislative maneuvering and partisan gamesmanship, convincingly brought to life by great ensemble acting and peppered with wonderful performances by Charles Laughton, Walter Pidgeon, George Grizzard and Burgess Meredith. (The establishing ... Read More

VHS : Cannonball Run
Cool concept, great cast, awesome movie poster...incredibly lame movie.

A lot of things could've been forgiven about THE CANNONBALL RUN if the movie had only been funny. But it's not. It's just an astounding waste of talent that ends with the amusing outtakes proving that the people who made the movie had a better time than the people who paid to see the movie.

A good friend of mine despised this movie because he said, "It's like watching a party I didn't get invited to." He took it a little too personally but you get the idea.

The shame is that I really love so many people in this: Burt Reynolds and Dom DeLuise look like they're having a blast, Farrah Fawcett, Addrienne Barbeau and much-too-brief Valerie Perrine never looked hotter, Roger Moore was spoofing 007 during the peak of his tenure ... Read More

VHS : Tempest
The Tempest, set in the South during the Civil War. Though they tried hard to incorporate the characters and did a fairly well job at that, there was very little left of the original Shakespearean play. The purpose of the story seemed to be to fight for your future not hide away like a hermit. In the original play, it was about forgiveness and healing relationships. There is a slight difference there.

I also didn't like the heavy black magic. Yes, magic was part of the original play but there wasn't so much incantation and most of it was off stage. The magic in this movie seemed to be very prominent. The characters also seemed silly, especially the love story. The character of the brother was changed too; and no resolution took place between them. The war diverted them onto a few rabbit trails that seemed to be ... Read More
