This is one of my absolute favorite Disney movies, as well as my daughter's (who dressed up like Esmerelda 3 Halloweens in a row!). She still has the scarf, which is like 13 years old!!
Great movie!!

VHS : Sally Hemings: An American Scandal
This movie should be understood more as a historical love story more than an attack on TJ's charactor. While we will never know the whole truth about his relationship with Sally Hemmings, I think this movie treated it well-- as a true love affair, and as Jefferson maturing over time.

VHS : The Hunchback of Notre Dame II (Walt Disney Pictures Presents)
I agree with other reviewers when they say that the animation was not the best and that the story line was completely off from the original film, but think for a second about what this message is trying to bring.

Quasimodo is obviously not much to look at and Madellaine is not exactly the "ideal" disney heroine that everyone has grown up to. She's real and she's "common". They both are considered underdogs and are very shy and timid people. Although Quasimodo is a bit braver because of his experience hiding in the the Bell tower for twenty years. This film celebrates love. Not the type of love you see in chick flicks where its love at first sight and that false romantic stuff, but the unconditional love that all of us deep within want and need. Otherwise, we will always feel alone. ... Read More

There are better offerings out there at this price. The animation is decent and the storyline had potential, but it fails to deliver. The lead characters seem to morph personalities during the course of the cartoon (poor writing).

In other words, there is a reason why you've never seen this during prime time on network TV...
