if you like sci-fi movies from the 80's this movie will work for you. sure it is a lot like the movie battle beyond the stars but so what! i just pretend it happens in the same universe. kind of like a side-quel. its fun and the kid is'nt too annoying, the scenes on the station are cool. besides hawk has a hero quality thats hard not to like. kinda like ice pirates meets battle beyond the stars. kids will like this film.

MS. Beamen is so pretty and sexy, without being cheap. She should have been cast in bigger films. She can act, if you have every seen Starved, you have seen proof of that. The clip where she gets the evil boss in bed, and on Video, is one of the sexiest ever filmed! I know she works as a trainer in CA, but I hope to see her back in future films!

Most the reviews are pretty on target. The script is not the best for the talent that is in this movie, but they made it work. However, the sex scene between Rachel Hunter and Eric Roberts accompanied by excellent background music makes it the coolest looking I've seen on film so far.

There is also a cop hell bent on capturing the killer for his own personal reason. I don't have much against the borrowing of ideas. However, this flick tries to be Halloween so bad it's almost pathetic. From scenes to characters and almost down to the music, John Carpenter's masterpiece has been cloned. But I'm not attacking this movie for that reason. "He Knows You're Alone" just didn't click with me. I was never wrapped up into the story for a number of reasons. The killer was revealed too early. This truly and utterly stinks. Awful acting (I thought Keanu Reeves was wooden, but this is a whole forest of Z-list actors), abysmal plot (not only could this atrocity be written on a beer-mat, but you'd have space to write two more of these stinkers in the space left over). Avoid!

If you're considering this movie i'm going to save you some time, it's crap. However cheap it is just put your money in your pocket and reverse it. It's a rip off of a few other movies with the same plot, but those were better written and acted.
