Several years ago we taped this on VHS when it aired on the Disney Channel. The tape was watched so many times, it had to be thrown away a long time ago! This was one of my brothers and I's favorites, and now that my children are entering their school-age years, I'd love for them to see this. However, we definitely would like this on DVD--so it lasts for generations to come!

VHS : Goodbye Miss 4th Of July
We just picked this movie up kind of by accident at the movie rental store, but it was excellent. It's a very beautiful story with some significant ideas and a great portrait of the World War I era.

I saw this move years ago on a premium movie channel. At the time I recall thinking that I would love to see it on a large screen. Fast forward to 2008, I have a 52" big screen. I ordered this DVD.
WOW! It was everything I remembered and more. Awesome, stunning visuals.
The sailing scenes rock!

VHS : Into Thin Air: Death on Everest
Movie does a good job of capturing the suspense and tension of the tragedy on Everest. A limited setting (on the mountain) slows the pacing at times. My freshmen and sophomore students enjoyed the movie, but loved the book. It's unrated, but the material is suitable for high school students. A good supplement.

7.Going Under starring: Bill Pullman, Wendy Schaal, Chris Demetral, Ty Granderson Jones, Dennis Redfield

Well this movie takes a claustophobic sub captain and the worst crew ever and puts them together in a sub-standard spoof of the hunt for the red october. I found it quite amusing and found it to have a simlar feel to some Mel Brooks films by the sense of humor. I think its worth a rent and see then you can decide if you'd like to buy one.

8.Tie That Binds starring: Daryl Hannah, Keith Carradine, Moira Kelly, Vincent Spano, Julia Devin
