I did not particularly liked the movie. I think it was done on the cheap, too full of cliches, macho posturing, and as usual depicted the foes of Bowie, Crockett, and other defenders of the Alamo as unconscionable, mean people, misstatements, and with omissions of truths. I personally do not recommend the movie to anyone.

I think this was an okay movie (maybe this is because I never saw the first one or the second one). I thought it was really, really stupid, but my friend and I liked the pizza singing part--we kept cracking up every few seconds. The movie had very cheesy effects, bad actors, and at some parts you are just disgusted by how bad a movie can be. Since I'm not the type of person that would walk away from a bad movie (I stuck through half of "Leatherface" before escaping that stupid movie by doing homework) I stuck through the end, and there are two good parts (one is the pizza). The second is very touching, when the wife remembers her husband with the projector thingy that was spilling memories out to her. That part was good too, but the rest of the movie just was plain boring, bad, and ... Read More

VHS : Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here
***** 1969. Adapted from Harry Lawton's Tell Them Willie Boy is Here, this film was written and directed by Abraham Polonsky. A brand new zone 2 DVD of it is now available at Amazon.fr in a pristine copy. Texas, 1909. American Indian Willie Boy is hunted by sheriff Robert Redford in the desert. Both will lose there their last illusions. One can either enjoy this western as a powerful drama or appreciate the way Abraham Polonsky comments one of the rare American myths. A masterpiece that needs to be seen at least twice to be fully understood.

VHS : I Will Fight No More Forever: The Heroic, Tragic Story of the Nez Perce Indians and their Leader, Chief Joseph
This movie retraces a crucial episode of the Nez Perce Indians' history, at a time when the Native Americans were forcibly relocated to reservations. Very informative and really entertaining. We are truly moved by Chief Joseph's decision to surrender so as to spare the lives of the children and by the white soldiers' sympathy for him.

VHS : The Lost Child
This child once was lost and now is found by her loving Native American family. I loved this movie, it shows how the Native people live by their traditions, and their deep love of family. The acting was very good, and the story seemed very real. It is a movie to be watched again, and again.
Like most Hallmark Hall of Fame movies it is one that should be enjoyed by the whole family.

VHS : Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice
I think that this was weird that this was a Paramount movie and the tag line said Dimension Diversion On Miramax Films. This was 1993 movie, DVD Release 1993 94 minutes long ( very rare ). Region 2 didn't have near good effects. Micahs Transformation wasn't on R.2, when Micah gets hit by eletric bolt he screams and on R.2 he doesn't, then his voice gets real deep at the end not on R.2, then when the face appears on Micah his face changes shape before the devil appears. The Top Ten New Mdeia DVD doesn't have those effects. Different music was in different regions, the VHS had those effects to, and feel free to comment and ask me questions about this CotC movie. I know every single thing on this movie. This is another CotC review, i write reviews on all of the CotC movies but in a mixed-up order. I like CotC ... Read More
