Films buffs will want to know that the Spanish R2 'Mundo Futuro' DVD is missing footage. There are four cuts totaling 2.5 minutes of missing footage:

1. The pre-credit sequence is missing.
2. Some dialoge during the press invite, round table scene.
3. When Peter Fonda explores the remains of Westworld.
4. Dialogue at the very end.

Until a better version is released, your best bet is to pick up the R2 UK full frame edition which includes all of the above cuts.

This is a neat flick the way they had spliced clips from horror flicks together the way they did, especially from popular old flicks like Psycho, Halloween, Halloween 2, Friday The 13th:Part 2, The Fog, Dressed To Kill, Carrie, The Omen, Poltergeist, etc., so I don't see what's taking them so long to put "Terror In The Aisles" on DVD, because I would've bought this flick a long time ago if it was on DVD.

VHS : I Wanna Hold Your Hand
This is a very fast-paced and humorous movie about a group of friends going to NYC to see the Beatles 1'st appearance on the Ed Sullivan show. Two scenes very early on had me hooked on the movie: the record shop scene(which introduces the main characters), and the car ride scene. Both scenes really did a great job of getting you into these characters, their situation, and their varying reasons for making this trip. The movie does a great job of presenting us with their misadventures, and ties it up neatly and satisfyingly at the end for all the characters involved i think.

The film is filled with energetic performances and some very good, witty dialogue. And no offense to Eddie Deezen fans or the other actors, but i think Wendie Jo Sperber(as Rosie) steals the movie by a long-shot. ... Read More

VHS : Anger Management
Unquestionably this movie was never going for plausibility. A relatively mild-mannered man, Dave Buznik finds himself in the charge of Buddy, a slightly potty anger management therapist, after an altercation on a plane finds Dave in court. Of course, the fact he's mild-mannered is half the joke... I never really found Adam Sandler funny. He's far better as a straight actor with a light-hearted approach. This movie confirms this, as Jack Nicholson, as Buddy, is a class above him at all times. Jack is simply funnier, and Hollywood royalty. As for 'laugh-factor', yes there are definitely some funny moments, especially if you leave your brain at the door, but it's not what it perhaps could have been. I feel more could have been made of the rest of the cast, such as Torturro, Guizman, Harrellson (small ... Read More

VHS : Faerie Tale Theatre - Princess and the Pea
Shelley Duvall's outstanding "Faerie Tale Theatre" series scores yet another triumph with this hilarious adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's "The Princess And The Pea"; teleplay by Mark Curtiss and Rod Ash. Directed by Tony Bill.
Tom Conti's comic facial expressions and gestures are priceless as a Prince who is entirely controlled by his imposing Queen Mother (Beatrice Straight). She is the real power behind the throne. This is obvious, because Pat McCormick as the King comes across as a brain-dead dolt. Mother will decide who her son will marry, and he really should have been married long ago. Nancy Allen is featured as a shrewish, snobby, stuck-up Princess who courts the Queen Mother's favor.
But then, quirky, unconventional, funny, adventurous Aliecia (Liza Minnelli) knocks on ... Read More

VHS : The Last Detail
Directed by Hal Ashby ("Shampoo") and released in 1973, "The Last Detail" is a near perfect little movie-- in spite of a thin plot-- that holds up well thirty-five years later. It is essentially a three person film. Two sailors, Jack Nicholson (Budduskey) and Otis Young (Mule) are assigned the task of escorting Randy Quaid (Meadows) from Norfolk to Massachusetts where he will begin his eight-year-prison term for stealing a mere forty dollars albeit from his commander's favorite charity.

The two older servicemen decide that they should introduce the younger man, who is only 18, to a little bit of life before he begins his sentence: sex, drugs and liquor, with with a stop also to see his mother. The movie is a fine vehicle for all three actors who give outstanding performances. This is Nicholson ... Read More

VHS : Dressed to Kill
While the comparison to Psycho is inevitable, Dressed to Kill is a classic in its own right. De Palma may tip his hat to Hitchcock in some of his films, but I've never felt like they were copycats. The cast here is terrific. Angie Dickinson, Michael Caine and Nancy Allen (who at the time was married to De Palma) are the lead actors. Angie plays the troubled and frustrated Kate Miller and like Janet Leigh's Marion Crane in Psycho meets an unfortunate end in an elevator about 1/3 into the picture. Then we have the heroine played by Nancy Allen who is determined to find the killer in order to clear herself as a suspect along with the help of Kate Miller's son played by Keith Gordon. Michael Caine plays Kate's psychiatrist who thinks the killer is another one of his patients named Bobbie, a man who wants the doctor to approve ... Read More

I saw it years ago... Loved it then, and haven't been able to find it since. Was surprised to see it on IMBD & Amazon both, but wasn't a bit surprised to see it wasn't available.

If you get a chance to see this movie, DEFINITELY watch it. You will be in the small crowd of about 20 people who can then verify it's just not a weird dream the other 19 had.

Seriously...People look at you like you are nuts if you try to explain the movie to them, and they usually will deny it even exists.

I just noticed I really didn't talk about the movie: it needs to be seen to be believed. It is, however, very good, and quite funny.
