I Bought this along with the other two movies several years ago and i love it. i cried during the battle scene. i got picked on for admitting to that by someone who didn't support my being a fan of Anime.

believe me if i could afford the dvd of this movie i would buy it because i love the romance between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask.

VHS : Sakura Wars 1 (Dub)
If you never seen the Sakura Wars TV series at the very least. Then this movie will seem like nothing more than an incoherent mess. All of the character development, and the entire story lies in everything before this. This is just a movie to add on.

Now since I got that out of the way. I found this movie to be disappointing. The characters have new voice actors and this is terrible for Marya for the simple fact her russian accent is gone. And some of the characters original personalities did not carry over. Names are mispronounced as well. This is very unacceptable to me. Because in the series the characters were very unique. And Sakura especially had evolved alot towards the end. She seems to be right back at that clumsy stage. The dialogue in this one is pretty lame as well. This is ... Read More

VHS : Bubblegum Crisis 1
I'll admit, I just started sampling anime from the Mecha genre, and I don't really have a lot of experience with it. However, I've been watching anime for a long time, so I have a lot to compare this to. I was born in 1982, and I have a pretty good understanding of 80's culture, so I had the capacity to appreciate this series while overlooking some of its outmoded gimmicks. I'll list the flaws of this DVD numerically.

1. The dubbing is terrible. The english version of the singing is god-awful, and the male voices are just bad in general. When the female cast is speaking, it's passable. However, you may be asking why I don't just use the subtitles, but that brings me to my next criticism.

2. The combat is not conducted well, and that's why I can't use subtitles. Let me explain. ... Read More

The second series builds on the original series and introduces young new heroes. Unlike some series where everyone never ages. The way the characters are handle remind me of the dragonlance novels. Playing the opening and closing credits everytime is overkill though...

VHS : Project A-Ko 2 - Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group
The original Project A-ko contained several levels of plot: the grudge between A-ko and B-ko, Earth Defense Force's ineptitude, Lost Princess/Alien Invasion, making fun of other Anime. Plot's major failing is that it has only two plots, neither of them very well thought out. At least there's some semblance of continuity, and A-ko and B-ko do fight each other. Other than that, it's hardly a Project A-ko movie.

VHS : Project A-Ko 4 - Final
Ah, here we see both A-ko and B-ko growing further from C-ko. C-ko finally starts to notice that she's no longer the center of attention. "A-ko and B-ko are having so much fun" I completely agree C-ko, A-ko and B-ko have come to enjoy fighting each other so much, that they've forgotten about C-ko. A little more character development, this time on Ayumi Sensei, whose development really started in PoDFG. The beginning may be offensive to some, but it is tied in nicely. First time I've seen MEN with dimensional hammers. Kind of left the feelings of: school's not over yet, and teased us with the idea that A-ko and B-ko would grow away from C-ko. Gave a bit more insight into the Leptonians, and made me wonder a bit more about Miss Ayumi. Is the reason she doesn't make sense because she's a Leptonian too?
