Someday this movie will be looked back on as a holiday classic. Fun and smart. Will Ferrell at his best. It's colorful, hopeful, and actually shows just how great it can be to believe in something.

My 4 year old daughter has watched this film about 15 times since last Christmas. I'm upgrading to blu-ray for this can't miss Christmas classic.

i paid $26 plus S&H for a VHS tape that does not play well, the video fades in and out, goes completely white at times, and is of poor quality. In it's present form it is not even worth trying to watch it again. I was greatly disappointed in watching it...

VHS : Baltimore Bullet
Any movie about pool players risks being compared with the two Paul Newman "fast Eddie"movies namely "The Hustler" and its sequel "The Color of Money", Temptation to make such comparisons with these movies when approaching this picture should be resisted because they were quite weighty affairs whereas The Baltimore Bullet is a lighter work entirely.
James Coburn plays "Nick Casey" a pool hustler whose protege is "Billie Joe Robbins" -played by Bruce Boxleitner .They tour the pool halls of America taking on all comers but with one over arching aim -namely to raise the $20,000 it will take to challenge "The Deacon"(Omar Sharif)the game's acknowledged Mr Big during an upcoming tournament .
The structure is a bit repetitious with a great many pool hall scenes and the sub-plots involving ... Read More

I thought this was a movie about an independant trucker, not really. It is more of a goofy kind of love story. I think women and children might like it better. I watched it once after buying it, and have not had the desire since. I am a fan of Robert Blake, but not so much this film. If you want to see a great early movie of his, check out electra glyde in blue.

VHS : Eight Men Out
It is hard to believe that this movie is 20 years old already, it seems like yesterday that it was released, and this disc does it justice.

If you are a baseball fan of any level you probably know of the infamous Black Sox Scandel and the "fix" of the World Series, which rocked the baseball world much like the steroid issue today.

In Eight Men Out, the scandel is chronicled in a first class movie. The acting is superb throughout and the events surrounding the "fix" are well done. When the scandel is placed in the context of how baseball was during those times - players were far from having any power with respect to the owners - the nuances of how and why people reacted the way they did becomes more telling. Not as a justification for their actions, but more for how ... Read More

During the season leading up to the 2008 Presidential Elections, this film raises some interesting questions about the role of the media in shaping who we believe politicians are. After this, and similar films, one has to wonder about the reality of the men being considered for the country's highest office.

10.Taste for Killing starring: Michael Biehn, Jason Bateman, Henry Thomas, Helen Cates, Blue Deckert

VHS : Taste for Killing
Michael Biehn upstages the good guys as a psychotic killer who befriends two rich boys for reasons other then friendship. Eventually, he is rooted out for who he is, but not before he piles on a body count at the boys' expense.

MB plays a wonderfully psychotic villian in this film, second only (and, at that, debatably) to Travolta's character in "Broken Arrow." He steals the show in an otherwise by-the-numbers movie.
