Have you ever wanted to travel through time? To see the future? To witness historic events? Marty McFy(Michael J. Fox) finds hinself facing this when his friend "Doc" Emmett L. Brown(Christopher Lloyd) builds a time machine. Marty is accidentally sent back to 1955 (from 1985) ( he's only 17, so he hasn't been born yet) and disrupts his parents'(Lea Thompson and Crispin Glover) first meeting. On top of that, he might be stuck in 1955 because there isn't much plutonium around yet, and that's what makes the car a time machine. The actors do a great job of combining reality and science fiction to make my favorite movie. Do not show to young children who do not know cussing is wrong, as charactars swear freely.

Being we never had a stateside release of this film on dvd, lets see a U.S.A. blu-ray release! The music is awesome, the acting is incredible (esp on Joan Jett and Gena Rowlands behalf). I have copies on VHS tape, but I just upgraded everything in my entertainment center to hi-def 1080P plasma and bluray. In otherwords, there is no more vcr in my entertainment center! Blu-ray would make this movie even more incredible! A bit of trivia for you: Born In The U.S.A. Not many people remember that this film was originaly slated to be titled "Born in The U.S.A.". I enjoyed the first two a lot but the third one seems to be weak. It's nothing close like the first two and the plot didn't seem to make sense to me. The ending was cool but I sure wish they made a BTTF 4 but BTTF 3 seems to be the end of the series. The acting is not bad though but I didn't see any similarities with the first two it was just a newer adventure where they go cowboy but it's still fun to watch if your a BTTF fan.

I have a 9, 10, and newborn. The two older kids loved this series so much that the tape wore out! I am purchasing this again for my new born. I'm sure she'll love them as well. The VHS should be released on DVD to be more attractive to today's market. My family loved it so much, we're getting it anyway.

IN A NUTSHELL: DOES WHAT A TIME TRAVEL MOVIE IS SUPPOSED TO DO! This sequel of the superb "Back To The Future" is a very earnest attempt to follow a winning formula up with a truly worthwhile effort in this sequel. Complex, yes, but interesting. Unfortunately, at times it gets a bit too mechanically contrived with the time sequence derivations, and I find myself mentally checking the continuity which detracts from the theme. Nevertheless, if you liked the first "Back To The Future" you will probably enjoy this movie. All the characters are present from the original and they are playing multiple generations almost simultaneously. After all, isn't that what a time travel ovie is supposed to do?

I bought the video close to one month before viewing it. The sound quality about mid-dvd decreases and audio comes in and out. I have not informed the seller, to give an opportunity to reconcile.

This is a skilfully directed and performed piece of leftist propaganda that holds its punches until the film is 80% complete. Then Rob Reiner unloads on you in a presidential speech that contains all the extreme and often crude left wing views that dominate contemporary Hollywood. The huge talents of Bening and Douglas are wasted. The film's writer deserves a special raspberry award for muddying an otherwise unbelievable script. All in all, this film is just the ticket for Michael Moore fans. For people even slightly higher on the intellectual ladder, The American President is a disappointing waste of time.

Back to the future is my favorite movie of all time. From beginning to end it is so beautifully executed. Top notch directing, acting and editing with a score to rival "Star Wars". A sweet film the whole family can enjoy, they don't make'em like this anymore. The sequel's were fun too, but this puppy is lighting in a bottle!
