I was pleasantly surprised by this video. The packaging on the DVD made it sound like it was a softcore attempt at a bunch of gloomy, serious drama. Actually, it's all pretty light and silly and has a lot of good sex scenes. Basically, two guys lose their jobs because they are set up by two women at work. So they get their revenge by getting new jobs and putting the two women out of business... or something like that. Anyway, it lets the two guys meet a bunch of attractive women and have sex with them. There are nine sex scenes. Six are girl/boy. Two are girl/girl. One is girl solo. All are good. This film was released the same year as Keanu's "Matrix." I wonder if it purposely related to that or if it was by chance. My guess would be the former because this film does have some cheesy black-and-green imagery that is very imitation-Matrix. This was typical softcore: bad acting, silly plot, lots of female bisexuality but no male bisexuality, etc. This is really just an opportunity to see cosmetically-enhanced bosoms. Like all heteropatriarchal films, this one shows far more female nudity than male nudity. The sexual scenes were obviously fake too. The one fascinating part of this film were male torsos. I have some Surrender Cinema stuff and they are really good softcore. But, this DVD is not. It's completely censored, if you buy it, you're gonna miss all the good parts. It lasts only 70+min when it's supposed to last 90. Don't buy this unless you get a really uncut version.

Anyone who has seen the entire non-edited version of this flick will be very disappointed with the DVD. The film wasn't meant for an R rating, so this version pretty much cuts out all the goods that was worth watching. Not only were the best scenes being edited, but they were done so poorly with obvious frame jumps. The question that plagues me is `why edit it?' Does someone actually intend to make this a movie to sit down and watch while eating his/her T.V. Dinner? Basically, the point of this movie was stripped away in the DVD format, so anyone hoping to get what s/he saw on say Cinemax will be dissatisfied.

This is another one of the surrender cinema softcore flicks. That's all it tries to be. It's not their best but its not bad by any means. Those looking for acting, production values and story shouldn't be buying titles like "Diary of Lust". Those who want a little thrill with their partner would enjoy this. About the only downside is the lack of full frontal nudity, even though the trailers on the disc have lots of scenes with the girls and their George W's. The women are a mixed bag, some really pretty and others more "real" but not ugly.

There isn't much more to say other then the acting was pretty pathetic. The erotic scenes needed some work too, I mean in some cases it wasn't physically possible for them to be doing anything to one another the way they were positioned. Not to mention the people on the cover, yeah I didn't see them in the movie...
