As I write this after rewatching the movie, I'm listening to Liam Clancy's wonderful version of Eric Bogle's heartbreaking "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda." There is nothing I can add to those wonderful postings by others before me except to agree that this picture should be rereleased to the general public and shown in history classes. It might wake up young Americans to the disaster in Iraq -- another senseless war with little planning and forethought and disastrous consequences with tens of thousands dead, wounded, maimed and irreparably damaged. This is a very good interpretation of the Scott Turow book. 'Burden of Proof' has always been my favorite work from this author. This time Turow makes a lead character out of a terrific supporting character from the previous book ('Presumed Innocent'), the elegant and cunning defense lawyer Sandy Stern. It has a fairly complicated plot which must be handled judiciously in a movie to be understandable, and this movie does it well. The casting is top-notch, especially for Stern and his brother-in-law, who is under federal indictment. This is definitely worth your time.

I used to watch this movie all the time as a little kid and have been searching for it for years! It's so excitibg to find it i DVD and in such great condition. Truly a wonderful buy!

This movie is like so tense.I dont know what it was when i was watching it that made me feel freaked out.Since i am 22 it was a good scare but a evil demonic force was what i was feeling while watching this movie.I turned it off at the part where he was like trying to fight his demons from destroying him.It was so bad that the demon had full possession of his soul by making him get levitated in the walls.To the ceiling and he has no choice but to let it take full control over him and do bad things that will harm and endanger other people.Anyways the demon was creepy looking.I think this movie is kind of related to the poltergeist with Carole Anne.But this movie is about Cameron.I think basically this movie got a real twist and gives me the creeps.

A boy who is afraid of his own shadow goes on a great adventure in book-land. He conquers his fears and learns to appreciate books at the same time. I'd say the movie's geared toward boys more so than girls. My sons love it and quote it for days after we watch it.

I would watch any movie with Rutger Hauer in it, he's worth it. And he's absolutely great in this one. He has emotion, sympathy in all his movies; some laughable, some corny but all the same he can do anything. You gotta love the guy.
