VHS : Ski Patrol
Well this is definitely one of the weirdest snow ski movies I've ever seen. And when I first saw it, I tried to cross-referrence the characters in it compared to the ones in the Police Academy movies. It stars Roger Rose, Yvette Nipar, T.K. Carter, the late Ray Walston, and Martin Mull. Snowy Peaks I believe which is the name of this ski resort is where it takes place, and they are about to be evaluated on their performance, and when Martin Mull finds out about it, he tries to blackball their safety features so they can close down so he can takeover the ski resort and make his own resort, it's up to the ski resort to save it's reputation and keep it open. To me, the funniest part is the guy SUICIDE...the guy with a THREE part personality when he does the snowboard, and rocket skis and ... Read More

Unfortunately my scenes were cut or you couldn't see me due to a tight shot. The movie was filmed in April when it was warm weather. You'll notice no smoke is coming out of people's mouth during the outdoor scenes. I think this was before they could Computer Graphic it in. I thought the movie was ok if you have nothing better to watch. It is better than "Junior". lol

This 80's feel good beach movie is a real winner, and Ami Dolenz could be one of the most beautiful girls of all time. With all of the junk they put on DVD, overlooking this movie is a real crime.

I absolutely love this movie.......it's been a while since i've seen it. I think i'm going to buy it, and watch it again. My nephew and I used to sit and watch it, when I worked in a video store.....It would just play all day long..........We just bought a puppy in October, and I went to the pet store and bought a toy called, "THE CHICKEN BONE". My dog now knows this toy as, "CHICKEN BONE, CHICKEN BONE, LUCKY, LUCKY, CHICKEN BONE" He'll pick it up, and bring it to you!!!!! Some things you just never forget...............

VHS : Serial
Serial is an outstanding comedy that deserved a DVD release. Finally, courtesy of Legend Films, it has happened. This 1980 release, starring Martin Mull and Tuesday Weld, makes fun of the trendy (at the time) "self-actualization" movement. Martin Mull plays the one sane person among his many Marin County aquaintences who are all trying various methods of reaching their full potential. 28 years later, the movie remains relevant and very humorous. The DVD's video quality is very good. The sound is mono, but perfectly acceptable. [...] I received my copy 3 days after ordering it. Hopefully it will become available shortly through Amazon.

One of the most borring films I have yet to see. Just pointless!
Poor script, poor acting and most all empty plot.

The first time I viewed this movie, frankly I was sickened. It is not a pretty picture. There is not one person protrayed that I would actually like to meet. However it haunted me, I couldn't forget it. I tried to tell myself it was silly, dated, couldn't decide if it was a comedy or just a mix of whatever. I ended up watching it again, and the second veiwing was very different. I found that I saw a definate "courage" in the acting and directing of Bud Cort. This is a man that is not afraid to put himself out there, in the worse possible light i.e. a mentally unstable stalker. There is one scene where he is running away from the court ordered mental hospital, running down a hill, if you look closely, you will see the attention to detail that Bud Cort used. Ted's fly is open. There is scene ... Read More

I loved this movie - it brings us back to simpler times and GREAT music. It's definetly a refreshing change from the movies of today. I love the cast in this, and it was great to see REO Speedwagon appear. The movie's worth it just to see the talented and gorgeous Gary Richrath!

My 6 year old grandaughter loves this movie. We've watched it at least a zillion time and she still loves it. Too bad the girls had to grow up. We'll be buying more of their movies.
