And this is my favorite one, because, to me, Stephen King has come up with the most logical view of time travel: of course the past would be empty and silent and "over". Dean Stockwell overplayed his role, but was still the most likeable character in the group. Bronson Pinchot totally redeemed himself after that eighties-sitcom disaster, and Christopher Collet and Kimber Riddle did a realistic job of playing teens. (The only one who annoyed me was Patricia Wettig.) The filming was another issue; there were some glaring bloopers such as shadows of people moving beyond the Bangor airport's glass doors and a few cars driving in the streets of 'deserted' L.A.! The computer-generated Langoliers and sliced-and-diced airfield? Terrible. But the plot and dialogue were for the most part very loyal to ... Read More

This movie tells a story about how a mibehaved St. Bernard named Beethoven. His masters didn't believe he was very obedient so two of the kids sent him to obedience school. In the park, he runs off to a hotdog stand. Another St. Bernard(from a very rich family) named Micheal Angelo ran from a kidnapper. Thus, the two kids got Micheal Angelo and the rich family got Beethoven.

If you're wondering what else happens, get the movie! It's a good movie. It's great for dog lovers who are looking for a funny comedy.

Okay, folks, please indulge me....if I provide the right context, you might thoroughly understand why the title of this review is oh, so apropos!!

...okay, so it was a crisp, foggy, rainy, windy San Francisco Sunday morning....one of those mornings where you awoke, looked outa the window and immediately knew you would deservedly luxuriate in bed after a loooooooong week....this was the perfect time to catch up on some old movies I had been meaning to watch/may have missed....I had passed by Bram Stoker's The Mummy on guide listings, each time wondering, "why haven't I heard of this before?" all because the natural assumption was that it was somehow remotely connected to Bram Stoker's Dracula...at least in terms of production values.....nothing could be further from the truth...

This was a very interesting film. It combined a split-personality theme with a smooth detective thriller. It wasn't really hard to figure out the mystery surrounding the plot, but it was very entertaining to watch.
