If you loved Perfect Strangers, you will sooooo love this film! It is pure Pinchot fun. He is amazing as far as the physical comedy goes--how does he move like that? It's great to see him play "Murray" (whom he channels) as well as the rather off-beat Bobby (the channeler).

For those into action, the plane ride and the collapse of the fish house are not to be missed. It's cheesey 80s comedy at its best.

If you want a fun movie you can share with the kids (if you can admit you were alive in the 80s) or something to make the treadmill time pass fast, this is your movie.

VHS : Carlos Saura Dance Trilogy Part 1 - Carmen
This is one of my all-time favorite films. The color and dancing are spectacular but I think he most interesting and intelligent aspect of he film is the confusion of reality with unreality; life with an opera. The film, which starts on a concrete level becomes more and more surreal as Gades slips into a form of madness--a madness, perhaps, fated by the Gods.

He is obsessed with finding the perfect Carmen and...to their mutual destruction...he finds her. Reality and the opera become increasingly intertwined until Gades distorted reality becomes more powerful than life itself. In parallel with Bizet's Carmen, Gades falls inexplicably and helplessly in love with he faithless Carmen. I won't write more. You really need to see it yourself.

There's only one scene I disapprove ... Read More

VHS : Hunt for the Night Stalker
I've always found the Richard Ramirez story interesting. I remember the murders in the Summer of 1985. The only clue for a long time was a hat bearing the logo of the rock band AC/DC. I have read the story on crimelibrary.com and the entire book by Phillip Carlo. This movie was "made for tv" but stays closer to the story than a more recent film made on the "Night Stalker"-subject. This film is full of things that are truly part of the story. I wish they'd do a part 2 and cover the trial. If you find the Night Stalker story interesting this film is a must. You can also know that Richard himself along with the two dectives portrayed in the fim watched this movie together during the original broadcast. Get it you'll enjoy it !
