VHS : The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
This is a fantastic film, a brilliant example of a western or a war film, as well as being a very entertaining movie. The action is brutal and the directing makes this an amazing spectacle.

This is one of the best films I've ever seen.

VHS : Bay Of Blood
The beautiful colors, camera angles, and bloody effects are what kept me watching this movie. The actors in this have to be some of the most un-charismatic ever! it was fun to see them dispatched before they could say another word and put me to sleep! This is the english version and unfortunately the dubbing is not funny, something that would have helped the entertainment value. Like most european horror this is shocking because of the violence and not scary, with very little suspense(see "let's scare jesica to death" if you want all that). DVD picture is very good, bright and colorful. Audio is in english only and very low. special features trailers of other Bava titles.

VHS : Eerie Midnight Horror Show
It's hard to believe the significant number of EXORCIST rip-offs that the Italians produced so shortly after that U.S. hit's release. Here's another one. If the title "The Eerie Midnight Horror Show" confuses you, that's because it was created by some video marketing genius who thought it might lure fans of "Rocky Horror" or perhaps sound like some sort of long-appreciated cult classic. The title was created for an early 80s video release, but the film is known in Italy as THE SEXORCIST and showed up in theaters here as THE TORMENTED--not to be confused with the early 60s Bert I. Gordon film.

Like in several of the Italian takes on the William Friedkin original, the protagonist is an attractive young woman named Danila (sexy Stella Carnacina), an art student who nabs a 15th Century life-sized ... Read More

VHS : The Libertine
A 1970's SEXPLORATION FILM INTO THE MADONNA/WHORE SYNDROME

The Libertine explores the adventures of a recently widowed young wife (Catherine Spaak) who finds out her deceased husband Franco kept an apartment where he explored his interest in sadism. In the apartment, Spaak finds evidence that she was nicknamed "the saint" and a book rating his sexual partners on areas such as "imagination, compliance, adventure, experience". Absent from the book is her own name. Admitting that she was bored with her husband's attempts to make love with her, Spaak sets out to become the sort of woman whose name would be in that book. Along the way to becoming a sexual experienced temptress she encounters "the madonna/whore syndrome"- the men who might have married her when she wasn't sexually satisfying herself ... Read More

VHS : Death Rides a Horse
Lee Van Cleef is awesome. He was never a "pretty" actor in any way, shape, or form, but his charisma was quite palpable. I will watch anything with Lee Van Cleef in it merely because he's such a strong actor and can put spice and an element of danger in almost anything he portays.

"Death Rides A Horse" (yeah, goofy title, I know), is a great film that deals with the theme of vengeance, which always works well for the average Spaghetti Western. Add to this a great soundtrack by the most prolific man of film music (Ennio Morricone) and you've got yourself a true classic.
