The little theater is doing a version of this after Christmas so I wanted to see the movie first. If I was younger and could sing I would audition!

But it will be interesting to see how the play compares to the screen version!

this is a good movie, well directed and played.
the most important thing for me was to see a young Brent Spiner who has a little role, but however he is the friend of the protagonist and he helps him to fly...

Not much happening in this psuedo, comedy western from 1970. How Frank got talked into this farce would make good coversation over a drink or two. If he was trying to follow up for SERGEANTS THREE, or 4 FOR TEXAS, he missed the bullseye.

However, if you have free time of a few hours to spare, and if like me have never seen this film before, them you might want to watch it. I remember when they were filming it from some outtakes shown back then, but had never seen this one in theatres or on cable. Thanks to Encore Westerns I have finally been able to view the film, albeit 38 years later with most actors in the film now dead and buried.

I read many westerns and enjoy western movies so I don't find this movie as objectionable as some may. I also enjoy ... Read More

Read today's Headlines and see current Conspiracy theorists validated in this exciting, non-stop action thriller which points to shadow governments, to 'Enemies Within', to Deadly plots and extremist rogue branches of our Secret Service that ally themselves with those who would destroy America...It is right on the mark. The performances by this stellar cast starting with George Segal in a truly dramatic, Kennedy-like portrayal and Elliott Gould as the Vice-Presidential candidate is disarming and compelling and he and Segal both face, as the thematic allusions to J.F.K. remind us, the real dangers inherent in running for the highest office of the most important world power, the U.S. Their acting is superlative as is Conrad Janis' charismatic portrayal of the powerful, implacable, Cheney-like Deus ... Ok first of all, this movie has NOTHING to do with Mirror Mirror , it just had no place on the big screen and somehow ended up with the title to give it more credit (people tend to watch sequals). The acting was ok. I LOVED the roll of Jeffrey, how cool is a little retarded person that can play the violin? I bet the actor is a real genious. I'm so happy amazon is re-releasing this movie. I think everyone should buy a copy! It's a classic of B-horror movies!

A watch, a pension, a round of applause, and the good Marshal is ushered to early retirement. You'd have a blank look on your face too. But maybe not as blank as the goon who replaces you. Very enjoyable to see where this movie wants to go. But best of all is the scenery! And the smell of hot tobacco spit in the fire of life...

The film begins on the balcony of a luxurious penthouse apartment in New York City overlooking Central Park. An obviously wealthy, Jewish businessman, Arthur Goldman (Schell) is pontificating about seemingly random subjects to his loyal assistants. At first, he seems just eccentric but then you being to question his sanity. The line between sanity and eccentricity blurs even further as he sees his father (murdered in Auschwitz) working a food cart on the street below and as he begins to act paranoid over a blue Mercedes he believes is watching his apartment. Then, suddenly, two men (Israeli agents) break into his apartment and arrest/abduct him for being Adolph Dorf, the SS Colonel in charge of the concentration camp where Goldman's parents were killed. The scene moves to a jail cell in Jerusalem where the prosecutor ... Read More
