that thinks that many of these acclaimed Foreign films, and especially, the Italian films ( I am Italian myself ) are dull and plodding??

They take the most small and trivial of situations and then labor through it for 2 hours.

In this case, IL POSTINO, my feeling is that it looked like it had to be chop edited to make a certain amount of running time. There were many jump points that bore inconsistency.

the lead girl couldn't be less interested in the main character, or men, in general, however, several scenes later , she is seductively rolling a plastic ball in her mouth.

The Aunt or matron or whatever she was, of the lead girl, is ready to shoot the suitor with a shotgun, but then, after he whisks her off for an elopement style marriage, ... Read More

VHS : WWF's Tough Enough - The First Season Box Set
I watched the entire first season of Tough Enough and it was a good concept that was poorly executed by MTV and the McMahons. The series started well enough over the first couple episodes with a look at wrestling training and people who want to be wrestlers. Unfortunately, after the first couple of episodes, the prodigal son in law Triple H and his bride of Frankenstein, no talent, wife (Stephanie McMahon) decided the show was "exposing the business" too much (despite wrestling fans being upset that the series did not show enough actual wrestling). Therefore, the second half of the first season and all subsequent seasons show nothing except the trainees doing generic exercises and running the ropes, which gets boring quick.

The first season is also hurt by the fact that every single ... Read More

You may consider a bit exaggerate this statement but with just only six notable exceptions in all the story's cinema I had not ever seen such portrait which showed with dramatic precision the real essence of the human misery.

Thanks to an admirable cast and an overwhelming and realistic, you will feel since the first shots the portentous camera work and the sordidness of this underworld in the same heart of the sacred Rome.

This movie is supported by smart Fellinian devices the black humor and the unfinished irony in this unusual family where the fight for surviving will seal its own codes.

Nino Manfredi made one of his best performances ever.

Watch this powerful movie to realize how far can the reality surpass the fiction.

VHS : MTV's Behind Tough Enough
Okay Tough Enough did start out great. It showed the in's and out's of the business. During the first and second season. But, when the third season aired. It was appauling!!!!! Just flat out horrible!!!! I don't know what was worst, Big and Al Snow acting in a unprofessional manner or the fact during the third season. They managed to cause problems for actor Kelsey Grammer. Who was living in the area at the time. I thought, the whole thing was suppose to get more people interested. Not drive them away. Don't waste your money on this.
