Contrary to popular belief ... there are more than one kind of Catholic. There is the Roman Catholics who demand celibacy of clergy while the seven Eastern Rite (Byzantine Catholics) allows their priests to marry in Europe. Marriage was not a sacrament until sometime around 1000 AD when the Church added it to its list. Why shouldn't a priest be allowed to take holy orders and marriage vows at the same time? When Jesus taught he is referred to as Rabbi in the scripture, which during his day, was a term reserved only for marrried Jewish men. I am not stating anything about my views on theories that Christ was married but that .... if he was ... and if Eastern Catholics can ... why not those in Rome?

The late Christopher Reeve plays an ambitious American Priest and WW2 vet who arrives ... Read More

I have fond memories of this movie as a child. This movie should be put on DVD because there is a market of buyers out there waiting for it. This is one of the best sequels to a movie that I have ever seen. The characters are very powerful and memorable. The message for this movie is clear to all that see it (unless your asleep). My friends and I are waiting for this movie with bated breath, your attention in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I had to watch this movie in my American Lit. class. Everyone I'd ever heard talk about it did not have nice things to say. I truly enjoyed this film. Besides the teacher, I was the only person in my class who did! It was mysterious and symbolic and tragic. It was great! I really loved everything about it, basically. I think they should do a remake sometime with well-known actors, but it should stay very true to the story (even though I've never read it; I plan to). Every English teacher should show this movie, but I think the story should be read as well.

I've previously owned the Lynch version on DVD and the epic, three hour TV version that was shown on the Sci-Fi channel on a worn-out VHS tape. When this new extended edition dvd was released I jumped at the chance to get it. The extended version gives you much more detail and insight into the characters than the Lynch cut. While I find that the Lynch cut is enjoyable in it's own right I prefer the completeness of the extended edition. The shorter version just seems too rushed with too many gaps.

This and "Manhattan" are Woody's two great masterpieces, I think. It's quirky, but it hasn't dated at all because it's classic. You won't laugh a lot, but you may smirk, or smile. I hadn't seen this since it came out years ago. It was a great re-visit. Typical Woody jazz soundtrack lends atmosphere.

10.Penn & Teller Get Killed starring: Penn Jillette, Teller, Caitlin Clarke, David Patrick Kelly, Leonardo Cimino

VHS : Penn & Teller Get Killed
I've always been a fan of Penn and Teller, but this was hard to watch. It wasn't funny and it just seemed to drag on forever. It feels like they overreached in trying to make a movie.

It's not what they're best at.
