VHS : Halloween Tree
This is one of my favorite cartoons to show to middle schoolers. We study Medieval Europe and this is the perfect way to talk about how all these different cultures contribute to Halloween as we now practice it. Ray Bradbury is my favorite author, so we read some of the book and the movie is narrated by him so you can use this to teach similes and metaphors. Great learning tool! But I wish it was on DVD!

2.The Transformers - The Movie (American Version) starring: Orson Welles, Robert Stack, Leonard Nimoy, Norman Alden, Jack Angel

VHS : A Woman Called Golda
I have seen this movie and am currently trying to find it on DVD. It truly is a reliable account of the events leading up to the founding of the state of Israel. It really should be shown in high school history classes.

After the disaster that was Star Trek: The Motion Picture, The Wrath of Khan was a breath of fresh air and complete opposite.
Lots of great characters, action and special effects added up to a great movie.

UNCLE was a fondly remembered show - not always even, but pretty fun. Now this collection has great episodes and is the ultimate mind-warp for 60's TV fans. In short: Capt. Kirk vs. Spock and Col. Klink - then - Napoleon shoots the Joker and saves Agent 99! What more do you need?

VHS : Star Trek - The Original Series, Episode 76: Requiem For Methuselah
From the storyline and props, one can easily see that this episode is one of the last ones in the series. Flint is a man who was somehow born as an immortal on Earth. Growing weary of watching loved ones age and die and forced to move on before people recognized his true condition, he has traveled to Holberg 917-G.
A deadly epidemic of Rigellian fever is sweeping through the crew of the Enterprise and the antidote, a substance called ryetalyn is found on Holberg 917-G. Kirk leads a landing party to the surface and they are attacked by a floating robot called M4. Flint is accompanied by the beautiful and brilliant Rayna and Flint claims her as his ward. As you can surmise 20 seconds after Kirk meets her, he falls for her and she falls for him.
This leads to Kirk engaging in a battle with Flint over ... Read More

VHS : Star Trek - The Original Series: The Cage (Pilot)
It's not often you get to own television history of what was to become a Star Trek phenom. Reading the back of the box "Airdate:Never shown on TV!" in red ink is something! Many people make comparisons between Pike and Kirk. Everyone says it's the acting of William Shatner vs. Jeffrey Hunter with Hunter's Pike seeming to think too much vs. Shatner's Kirk being more energetic. Shatner replaced Hunter so Kirk was written to be more energetic, have more fight scenes, being the womanizing captain in nearly every episode. Personally I think Jeffrey Hunter was cuter than Shatner was. There are two things prophetic about the Cage. Telosian illusion is comparable to Holodecks in Star Trek The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine which is interesting because no one could've predicted Star Trek would sell later until it did, and the scene ... The Good Things
*Excellent action and special effects (especially the opening, which was probably the first really cool use of the shockwave effect that we now see everywhere else).
*Filming style is good.
*Storyline is smashing. Much darker, more dramatic than before. Lots of interesting political intruigue and mystery.
*Reveals a lot in the "Star Trek" universe. You finally get to see more of Klingon culture, and you get to see that they have pink blood, and so on.
*Characters are great; acting is good.
*Writing is good. A few memorable lines, and a few bits of dry humor that doesn't take away too much from the serious storyline.
*Strong themes about the uncertainty of the future (hence the Shakespearean motif).
*Excellent music; a different theme, but very dramatic.

VHS : Bible Collection: David (P&S Slip)
This is one of the best Old testaments movies I have seen yet and I have seen many. It is true to the Bible and very exciting.

Old Testament history is hard to keep straight as so very much happens but this film will burn this time of Saul and David and his son Solomon in your mind and heart not to be forgotten.

The acting is wonderful and everything looks real life, like you are there with them.

There is of course a lot of killing. It may be too much for small children. Although David sins he still remains a man after God's own heart. God has mercy on him many times. He had to pay dearly for his sins. All that God foretold comes true.

A must of all lovers of Old Testament history.
