VHS : The Lion King (A Walt Disney Masterpiece)
The item's content was of course, excellent. The movie did come unhinged during shipping, which caused a loose, shaking noise inside before I opened it. I had to prevent the movie from hitting the floor when I opened it. Haven't actually watched the movie to inspect visual damage....more to come.

Sent this as a gift to a very special little girl on her birthday. She just loves the movie and I get the biggest kick out of listening to her humming the tunes. Would definately recommend this.

VHS : Winnie the Pooh - Boo to You Too
This is a super show. I feel sorry for Piglet, because he is so scared of Halloween night. I first taped this off of the TV years ago. I just watched it for the first time in years a few days ago. I just love it. I just wish that Paul Winchell did the voice of Tigger. Although, Jim Cummings did a great job at doing the voice of Tigger.

VHS : Tarzan (Walt Disney)
Somewhere in 2000, Disney quietly launched a special 2 disc collector's edition of "Tarzan" the same year as its paltry one disc edition. For some reason it advertised the one disc version heavily, which is a shame because the collector's edition is a gem not to be missed by fans. Unfortunately I didn't know about it until years after its release, and by then it was out of print, hard to find, and expensive. Luckily I found a copy that was decently priced, and was finally able to get my hands on this remarkable edition. I see this as the "Tarzan" DVD for adults: instead of cartoony illustrations on the jacket, there's Glen Keane's famous sketch of Tarzan peering at you with those intense eyes. The menus are extremely well designed and the commentaries are entertaining and insightful. It's filled to ... Read More

I loved the Lion King, and even enjoyed the second one. This however, totally destroys the first one. All it does is take the first movie and stick Timon and Pumbaa where they don't belong, along with throwing in some random things about Timon's family. There is one cute song in the beginning, but that is one of the only redeeming qualities of this movie. You might as well watch the original, and if you want a new and interesting plot watch the second. Don't waste your time on this

The term classic is apparently meaningless? I would appreciate it if you would define your categories, or at least prominantly display the date of the original issue of a work so that those of us who enjoy only vintage Disney animation could quickly eliminate those of no interest, especially those with tacky, boring computer animation.

Two words: absolutely enchanting.

I was looking through customer reviews for my old favorite Disney films, and I saw all of the unfavorable reviews for this title.

This follow-up to the classic Disney film is just as fun and magical as the original.

Enchanting songs and the same characters, plus a few new ones, make this a classic for kids and adults alike.

Wonderful.

I absolutely love this movie! I have enjoyed this movie since I was a kid (I am now 23). Now my 16 month old loves to dance to the music in this movie. I love the songs, but they will get stuck in your head. This is a wonderful family movie that is great for all ages.
