VHS : Dawn of the Dead
My favorite Zombie movie. The best way to see this is unrated and uncut. Not for the faint at heart or those easily grossed out. Lots of blood, and exposed intestines. Ken Foree was great in this. He is one of 4 survivors trapped in a mall with zombies. They fly to the mall after a drug bust in an apartment where zombies are on the loose. They escape via chopper to a mall. The mall is filled with zombies. Tom Savini leads a gang of bikers who want the mall for themselves and go after Ken & co. (all GREAT performances) and you actually feel bad for the zombies who are getting attacked by Savini & his bikers. Cool twists, cool flick, great acting, & SPFX the best Zombie film if you ask me. The best version of this on DVD is the ultimate edition from Anchor Bay which has 3 versions of ... Read More

This movie is an olde but a goodie. Just watched it again for the first time since I was a teen. Still as scary and great to watch as it was then. A must see for any King fan or horror/scary movie lover.

VHS : All the Right Moves
Now approaching mid-life, this is one of the films that I grew up with. This film was especially touching for me due to the fact that about the time this film came out, I was heading off to college. In truth, at the time I mostly enjoyed this film for the famous, or perhaps infamous nude scene between Tom Cruise and Lea Thompson. Such as it is with most teenagers. As I grew older I developed a deeper appreciation for the story, beyond that one scene. All the Right Moves is a good title, but doesn't really fit the film, as the characters of the film, as in real life, make choices that are not always the best. Like most of us, the characters land on their feet like the cats we covet despite choices and circumstances. Overall this is a good film to recommend for the young adult. This film can be viewed by ... Read More

I thought you might like to know that the Description of this item contains two pieces of misinformation that should be corrected, if it can be. First, capital punishment was not declared unconstitutional in the 1960s. It was temporarily declared unconstitutional in 1972 (Furman v. Georgia), but re-instated in 1976 (Gregg v. Georgia). In any case, the last person executed prior to this hiatus was not Caryl Chessman (executed in 1960) but Luis Monge who was executed in Colorado in 1967. If the item itself is as full of misinformation as its description, I wouldn't trust it!
