This is a GREAT film, borrowing from BLADE RUNNER, THE TERMINATOR, MAD MAX, and slasher films -- but with its own unique story and style. BUT if you're buying the "Uncut Red Edition," there are some issues you should be aware of. * This "Eurocult" DVD claims it's uncut, "unlike American DVD and VHS editions." Not true. Yes, this Uncut Red Edition may be uncut, but it contained no scenes that I hadn't seen in my American tape edition. This movie is really good. However, it tries to hard to be like the original Crow. The similarities make it feel more like a remake than a sequel. For an interesting twist and a good solid sequel you should buy; "The Crow; Salvation". But if you are like me and you want the whole collection it is still a good watch.

We found this movie on Netflix just because it had Johnny Depp and we hadn't seen it. We found it interesting from the git go about the boring uncomfortable weird trip he had getting to Mechanic for his job. The Movie makes you feel like you were actually there. Showed you things the way the old west probably was actually like. We loved the movie and even went online and bought a used copy from amazon for 4.00. Can't wait to watch it again.

If you can only laugh at slap-stick comedic films, you will not like this very much. If you enjoy dry comedic films where the jokes come from the characters' personalities, facial features, and witty dialogues, then you will enjoy most, if not all, the sketches of this film. The comedy comes from what I mentioned before, but it's a better experience watching this movie if you know almost every actor involved. Don't get me wrong, even if you didn't know any actor in the sketches, you would still find this enjoyable due to the excellent interactions between the characters.
