I just want to throw my vote in here that this really needs to be on DVD!
It's an 80's classic for all the teens who remember seeing it in the theaters & rooting for Joe to get away from the prison guards & helicopters.
Great love story too!

3.Voyage of the Rock Aliens starring: Pia Zadora, Craig Sheffer, Tom Nolan, Ruth Gordon, Michael Berryman

VHS : Voyage of the Rock Aliens
A good Pia Zadora film is truly a contradiction in terms. But even at their trashy self-promoting worst (BUTTERFLY, FAKE OUT, THE LONELY LADY), they never scaled the queasy heights that 'VOYAGE OF THE ROCK ALIENS' reaches with its desperate last-ditch attempts to showcase Pia's ...for lack of a better word... talent.

4.Bloodknot starring: Margot Kidder, Allan Royal, Ashleigh Ann Wood, Patrick Dempsey, Krista Bridges

VHS : Fire on the Amazon (Rated)
This is an awful movie. No plot, terrible acting (even by Ms. Bullock, who is one of my favorite actors), and even bad lighting and camera angles on the one scene you're probably getting this movie to see. The two stars are simply because this is the first and probably only film in which Sandra is actually buck naked-- not that you can really see anything of substance, but it's a novelty when an A-lister like Sandra takes it all off. If owning her one and only skin flick is your goal, buy it. Otherwise, just admire her beauty fully clothed in one of her good movies.

7.Fire in the Sky (1993) starring: D.B. Sweeney, Robert Patrick, Craig Sheffer, Peter Berg, Henry Thomas

VHS : Fire in the Sky (1993)
Remember this movie? Pretty damn cool, isn't it? Whether or not you believe the story being told, it still made for an entertaining movie. And admittedly, having the "Based On A True Story" line attached does tend to add a bit more creepiness to an often told Hollywood tale.
I remember this being marketed more as a science fiction film, but other than the premise and the sequence near the end of the film that shows Walton's experience aboard the ship, this is really more of a mystery/drama.
The film tells the tale of Travis Walton and his logger buddies who witness a UFO in the mountains one night in 1975 while driving back to town. Travis leaves the truck, is shot by a light from the ship and disappears. His buddies return to town to tell the story, but soon find themselves suspects ... Read More

I never saw these actors before and have no idea who they are or what they are doing now, but this is a piece of work you will either really enjoy or hate. The odd thing is that it reminds me of some of the people I knew in school. They weren't grave robbers, but some of them could have acted in this movie without much effort. The acting is first rate for a semi-gruesome flick.

10.Shadow of Doubt (1998) starring: Melanie Griffith, Tom Berenger, Craig Sheffer, Huey Lewis, Wade Dominguez

VHS : Shadow of Doubt (1998)
Randal Kleiser, the director of this average melodrama, is also the man who directed the classic movie, GREASE. Hard to believe that he could go from such a high energy classic to such a low key, ultimately average thriller.
Melanie Griffith plays rather vapidly a high profile defense attorney who has just gotten city councilman John Ritter off of a rap. Earlier in her career, however, Griffith got an accused rapist, played with fearless ham by Craig Sheffer, off and found out later while in bed with him that he did rape the girl.
Tom Berenger plays Jack, Griffith's ex husband, who is also the prosecuting attorney in the murder trial of a rising rap singer who Griffith is defending.
Nina Foch chews up the scenery as the presidential hopeful's mother, and Wade Dominguez underplays the accused ... Read More
