VHS : Bunny's Tale
This amazon.com product detail page is for the High Quality SP mode release of the video. It has not been released on DVD. Another listing of this same movie "A Bunny's Tale" is actually a low-quality cheap-o EP mode release which I made the mistake of buying. This higher quality release is the PRISM video and is SP mode.

The film is from a TV Movie rarely shown today. Kirstie Alley plays the real-life character Gloria Steinem who went undercover to expose the life of a Playboy Bunny cocktail waitress. She recounted her tale in a women's magazine that won her great acclaim. The film takes you through the all the steps and humiliations women went through in order to make it as a Bunny. Although it is not entirely a feminist expose. There's plenty of stuff for guys here. Although ... Read More

Why does it seem that studios never release the movies that made the Eighties so over the top! Nudity, Risky Plot lines (weak but risque)and of course Diane Lane hot out of "Streets Of Fire." This movie was one of those many films on cable constantly especially CINEMAX. The good old (Wink) innocence days. I would love to have this one for the collection if it kindly released from the vaults!

I usually come to Hallmark movies with high hopes but expectations that they'll be dashed. This is one Hallmark movie that I wanted to run out an buy once I saw. It's well-written and poetic. I would definitely recommend it.

I do not under stand all the bad talk about this movie; I mean come on! this was not intended as a hollywood block buster, it was made for lifetime TV. If you actually watch the movie closely or more than once, you will see that it is really kinda eerie. I watched this movie the very first time it was aired on october 1992 and now I have the DVD!

VHS : Mistral's Daughter
First, Mistral had a legendary love affair with the mother (Maggie), then years later found his true love in her daughter (Teddy). I don't know what kind of emotion that would have created in the mother, nor would I want to know. But for the observer, the story is hard to resist.

Stacy Keach (Mistral) was allegedly battling substance abuse problems while this filmed. He was adequate, and perhaps would have been more so had it not been for the cocaine.

Lee Remick (Kate) was lovely on the outside, even if her character wasn't so lovely on the inside.

Stefanie Powers (Maggie) did a great job, but to me she absolutely should have been Teddy. I even picture her as Teddy as I periodically re-read passages of the book.

Lily Taylor (Teddy) was so miscast! I will not fault ... Read More

VHS : Last Prostitute
Have you got a teenage son? Are you worried about the kind of ideas he may be getting about sex and women from popular culture? Make no mistake about it; he's probably encountered porn by now, heard about "making it" from guys just a few years older than himself.

There must be dozens of movies in which "coming of age" means nothing but getting laid. And that's what Danny and Burt are after in THE LAST PROSTITUTE. They've heard about a famous prostitute who lives several states away, they've saved up their money, they've told their parents they're going to summer camp, and....

When they arrive, the guy who gave them their last lift takes off with their money and everything but the clothes on their backs. They hike the rest of the way in a drenching rain, finding Loah at her farm. Only it turns ... Read More

This movie is like so tense.I dont know what it was when i was watching it that made me feel freaked out.Since i am 22 it was a good scare but a evil demonic force was what i was feeling while watching this movie.I turned it off at the part where he was like trying to fight his demons from destroying him.It was so bad that the demon had full possession of his soul by making him get levitated in the walls. To the ceiling and he has no choice but to let it take full control over him and do bad things that will harm and endanger other people.Anyways the demon was creepy looking.I think this movie is kind of related to the poltergeist with Carole Anne. But this movie is about Cameron.I think basically this movie got a real twist and gives me the creeps.

This second opus is bringing the war inside the human camp because one military scientist who had had the chance, though not to his taste, of having a mutant son and who had manipulated him so much that he had managed to take complete control of him, is provoking, or at least trying to, an open war of total destruction against the mutants. This time bad and good mutants unite to defeat that man though the bad mutants take over the game of the bad human and redirect the weapon from total destruction of mutants to total destruction of human beings. This drastic situation is saved in due time and just in time by the good mutants though the bad ones manage to escape and the good ones must sacrifice one of themselves to assure the escape. That will be essential later and it builds a promise because the death of a hero is always ... Read More
