This movie is 60's classic. I notice the last post on this forum was in 2000! Here it is 2008 and still no DVD! I agree with the majority of reviewers that the junk that is out on DVD is just that...junk. We don't want these classics to be forgotten. Copy it to DVD before the next iteration of technology emerges.

How can Jerry Lewis be a babysitter for a Hollywood starlet? This is the question you will find out when you watch this 1958 classic comedy. Jerry is a TV repairman when he receives the startling news that he is about to be a babysitter of TRIPLETS! I laughed out loud when I watched this on my DVD/Video player. You will enjoy every minute of this Jerry Lewis comedy from nearly 50 years ago!!

Don't waste your time and money. Next to "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane", it is the biggest waste of celluloid. The most horrifing sceen is Connie Stevens topples, trying to change her image. Frankly it could turn you off of women for life! Good thing she changed from acting to selling make up. Shame there is not a minus star rating for this dud.

5.Back to the Beach starring: Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello, Lori Loughlin, Tommy Hinkley, Demian Slade

VHS : Back to the Beach
I'm sure big fans of Frankie and Annette may have found this movie very enjoyable, but for most of us this film is pretty lame and corny! Most of the jokes fall flat, but the film does have a certain amount of charm. The first 20 minutes are OK, with our favorite surfer couple's son "Bobby" delivering most of the laughs! There are many cameos from old TV show stars in this film, but they are not all that memorable. It's hard to come down so hard on a family friendly movie that means so well, but this film is mildly entertaining at best! The DVD transfer is fine with no extras at all!

VHS : Palm Springs Weekend
This was the first movie I saw when I was a kid. I was almost seven at
the time and it was on a double bill with "The Sword and The Stone." My
mum dropped my two sisters and myself off at the Altantic Theater in
Long Beach, California and this movie played first. I can't tell you a
thing about the Disney movie, but I remember just about every scene
from Palm Springs Weekend. The '63 Thunderbird, Bugs Bunny, Stephanie
Powers, Connie Stevens, the pool with the bubbles and the car chase at
the end. Hard to believe, but this film made me want to work in the
movies.

And so I did. I have worked in film and video most of my career and I
always tell people this was the film that first gave me the notion.

During my career I have been fortunate ... Read More

VHS : The Littlest Angel
I watched this movie with my parents at Christmas last year and all of us were very disappointed. We were all familiar with the story of the "littlest angel" and hoped that a movie with such a cute kid in it would do the story justice; we never expected the most boring musical of all time. A low quality song and dance routine is given for every single little step the kid takes. There is even literally (and I wish I were joking) a song about nothing. I can't imagine any child watching this movie and enjoying it--I am a very patient person who loves movies others consider slow and even I found The Littlest Angel unbelievably dull. When it finally ended I felt I'd been through an ordeal. Needless to say, The Littlest Angel has NOT become a Christmas classic at our house. My recommendation is to find a storybook and ... Such a young Angelina Jolie. Old movie, seemingly low budget, I had a hard time trying to get through it.
