VHS : Torvill & Dean - Path To Perfection: World Ice Dancing Champions
I watched T&D get sixes across the board for Bolero, back in 1983 in England. It made me cry. Although there are too many "talking heads" and not enough skating on the video, what there is, is wonderful. I purchased a tape which the seller said had only been viewed twice,(why?), and the quality was excellent for a recording more than twenty years old. Now I have to get "Face the Music". I am so glad these tapes are still available.

I ordered this product on October 25, 2008. I did not recieve this product until November 22, 2008. I feel the shipping is too much and for the price that I did pay, I feel that my merchandise shouldve arrived sooner. Forget about trying to give gift certificates to anyone for a gift as the shipping and handling is outrageous. Also, when I explained I did not receive my DVD (used), I was asked if I would like another sent out. It shouldve been an automatic response to send another!

Beethoven DVD

Beethoven is a comedy about a family with a Saint Bernard dog and all the trouble the dog gets in to. A laugh-a-minute.

Highly recommended for the entire family, especially dog lovers.

And this is my favorite one, because, to me, Stephen King has come up with the most logical view of time travel: of course the past would be empty and silent and "over". Dean Stockwell overplayed his role, but was still the most likeable character in the group. Bronson Pinchot totally redeemed himself after that eighties-sitcom disaster, and Christopher Collet and Kimber Riddle did a realistic job of playing teens. (The only one who annoyed me was Patricia Wettig.) The filming was another issue; there were some glaring bloopers such as shadows of people moving beyond the Bangor airport's glass doors and a few cars driving in the streets of 'deserted' L.A.! The computer-generated Langoliers and sliced-and-diced airfield? Terrible. But the plot and dialogue were for the most part very loyal to the ... Read More

sorry, but urich and brooks are the only two who should ever play these roles. despite Parker's opinion that JM is a better Spenser, he doesn't at all fit the bill. he looks nothing like how i saw the character in my mind even before the original show (while reading the books). he doesn't bring to mind an ex-boxer/street tough. he looks more like an accountant. and NO ONE could ever ever play Hawk the way brooks did. Avery Brooks IS Hawk. Just as Robert Urich IS Spenser. watching this film was like ordering steak and getting liver.

VHS : The Far Pavilions (EP Version)
For those who appreciate British history in India, forbidden romance and swashbuckling conquest; if you could watch a 5 hour movie, then this is for you. You will find diverse characters, sumptuous costumes, fabulous horse flesh and parade dressed elephants in an exotic countryside of castles , palaces and battlefields. It is just possible to suspend disbelief in the elaborateness of the plot though the character of the leading man pales in quality compared to the lead women.

The history buff and romance novelist will regale; others may be daunted. Makes a good two or three night watch.

Other reviewers did a great job , and there's nothing left for me))), except this: first of all I'd like to notice that brilliantly used "flashbacks" in some scenes gives you much of mysterious feel (especially during final scene) and movie shines even more with it, addin' to this "multi-layered" masterpiece one more implication way.
After movie is over you'd prefer to watch it again and again, and still after numerous times of watching, you'll be thinking and wondering about this twisted story over and over. And now I understand Jack Hues(Wang Chand) who wrote a very solid song(To Live and Die in L.A.) being highly impressed at pre-production show of film.

Also I would like to notice that DVD is well done with amazing sound, good visuals transaction(but it could be a bit better) and with such adds ... Read More
