I just purchased the newly-in-a- keepcase (not a snapper)edition which has ©2008 on the back cover fine print (Amazon says 2007) I had held out because I had heard rave reviews of the remaster for the box set back in 2003-which you could only buy in the set at the time . I already had the 1999 disc-so I could wait So, 5 years later a new package, with new package design work, current year copyright,-and WHV sitting on a nice RM for a few years I thought "Aha! Now is the time to get it it!"=thinking that after all the years they would ditch the 1999 transfer. Definitely strange, interesting and fun!!! Very unique idea for a film!!! This movie is for the "COMPLEX THINKER" or the "DYSLEXIC MIND" ...few can put this movie together in less than 2 or 3 viewings. This film literally runs forward from the end of the movie yet backwards at the same time; adding supposed real-time moments where the main character is on the phone or reminiscing about things he remembers before his assault. Sabotage came as a bit of a surprise to me. Instead of kicking evrybody inside Mark Dacascos actually plays a reasonably good role, without his usual overacting. The supporting cast does a serious job instead of just fooling around as often happens and the plot may not be very original, but the details have been worked out quite well. This is not a movie everybody will enjoy, but if you like action movies, I think you will find it quite a pleasure to watch.
