I'm sorry to tell that, of the two dvds that I bought as described
below, one had no subtitles and the other couldn't be read cause of
region issues. I was allready worried about this possibility, and sent
attached to the request this comment, as you may observe in my order.
I buy at the Amazon since 1998 and never had any trouble. I think
that, as this is a worldwide store, it is important to pay attention to
the profile of the country you're sending your products, mainly regarding
electronics and midia.

VHS : The Painted Stallion
First is the great setting, not the Iverson Ranch in California, but the breathtaking, now famous corridor between Moab, Arches National Park, and the beautiful Ls Sal Mountains in Utah. I would have titled it "The Singing Arrows", but "The Rider" a beautiful and mysterious girl, comes across in great photo angles as something mythical. I missed this one as a kid, having vague memories of The Phantom Rider and the Secret of Treasure Island. The music, while vintage Republic, is what you recognized the first time you heard the Valkyrie, and also uses Les Preludes, the original Star Wars type music used by Universal in Flash Gordon. The extras are actually better and more authentic "Mexican" types than appear in Zorro's Fighting Legion( its one negative) and the same set is used in both movies. ... Read More

VHS : Now & Forever
It is unknown if this was director Adrian Carr's first motion picture. But if it is, it is a good work from which to build a career upon. Now And Forever is based upon a 1974 novel written by Danielle Steel. The story is about a man who meets a woman other than his wife at an outside cafe. Being slightly drunk (departing from the book's premise that the male character was lonely and wanted to be in a woman's arms so desperately), Margaret Burton (portrayed by sizzlingly hot Christine Amor) offers Robert Coleby's character a ride back to her apartment to sober up. Once there, Margaret stalks her prey, and sweeps up Coleby's character in hot, passionate kissing. Eventually, Margaret Burton mounts him (no nudity is present in this scene), and engages in an brief, but intensely erotic sex scene on ... Read More

6.Escape 2000 starring: Steve Railsback, Olivia Hussey, Michael Craig, Carmen Duncan, Noel Ferrier

VHS : Escape 2000
My 1st introduction to escape 2000 was this uncut version and blew my expectations away! this has it all and then some. Anyone with distaste for the government ends up in a nazi style camp, where nothing good happens to them except being turned loose for a chance to escape while being hunted down like animals for sport. Steve Railsback is great as usual up against some nasty Aussie baddies and one half-man half-beast. Special features has director smith disowning the film but his descriptions and stories are hilarious. Prisoners are tortured, babes lose their clothes, a guy gets cut in half, and much more in this freakin' masterpeice! DVD picture is very good WS anamorphic and 5.1 surround sound

Allie is no beauty. She's also a little slow, gullible and obsessive. But she is a kind beautician in a ritzy salon run by the supportive Karen. Allie dreams of owning her own business but sadly she is not exactly on the fast track to success. Vengeful housewife Michelle has developed a bad attitude after catching her husband in bed with her best friend. Michelle and Allie team up, taking out their frustrations in a covert campaign of mischief and larceny, bonding through thievery and housebreaking. When they take hostage in his very own mansion, a young, rich, good-looking Beverly Hills stud, Allie falls in love fast. As she tries to "convince" her victim to love her back, their troubles can only go from wild to even wilder.
