Io bought this mvie hopping it would be a good education tool. It was not. It does not follow the book and kids notice these kinds of things. If it is based on the book it should say so.

VHS : Munsters Go Home
Great movie (get the DVD instead) VHS is dead.

All the original cast (except Priest as Marylin), return to head to
Englad where Herman has inherited the Munster estate. But what they
don't realize is that the mysterious Griffin is out to scare away
the Munster family back to America.

If you liked the TV Show, this is a great movie for your collection
(nowhere near the awful one from NBC in the 80s' "Munsters Revenge")

VHS : Munster Go Home
I remember seeing this movie when I was a kid. I hadn't seen it in many years. How could you not love the comedy team of Gwynne and Lewis. From "Car 54, Where Are You" to Herman and Grandpa, they are as well matched as any of the great duo's. The one thing missing in this movie are the laugh tracks. Some people hate them. I think they were nostalgia for that time period. I realize this was a movie, but I feel the use of the laugh track was a big part of the TV show's success because there are some parts of this movie that needed it. Comments that were funny, but were dry and/or quiet because of it not being there. This movie is a full length continuation of the TV show. I also enjoyed being able to see them in color and finally getting to see their green skin. The black and white TV show is ... Read More

VHS : Lidsville 1
This show involves the adventures of a boy named mark, who is temporairaly in the land of living hats, Lidsville. There mark must fight off the evil magician of Lidsville, Hoo-Doo. If you dont have an imagination, or if you do and dont know how to stretch it, avoid this show. Butch [Eddie Munster] Patrick does a good job as mark, and Charles Nelson Reilly is great as Hoo-Doo. I think this is the Kroffts brothers best show, but I gave it four stars because of the amount of episodes on a tape.

It isn't until the deal is closed that Grandpa discovers they're the ones who've been had -- by a shrewd real estate operator who knew a freeway was going to be built on their property, tripling its value. But in the end, it's still the McCoys who have the last laugh.

This film impressed me with the tense plot and excellent acting from a relatively unknown cast. Corey Feldman is hysterical. The squemish might want to fast-forward through a disturbing scene where a woman gets her finger chopped in a paper cutter! Overall, I really enjoyed this picture.
