I watched Sahara with Brook Shields many years ago, and wanted the VHS version of this movie. This movie was one of my favorites. Good Movie. Enjoy!

This movie falls into the "so bad it's good" category. All the actors are terrible, even Henry Fonda's cameo stinks. Some of the scenery is great, some is obviously phony. But somehow it is watchable, perhaps because you keep imagining what is being parodied, especially toward the end. Yet it gives one a twinge of regret when it's over.

Very few movies are truly works of art. This is one of them. There are no explosions that throw bodies through the air, no sensational car crashes, no severed human limbs. Rather there is a plot that unfolds on its own good time, well drawn characters, excellently written dialogue, perfect atmosphere, and gorgeous photography. Still, I understand why some might find the film objectionable. There is nudity, even nudity of a pubescent girl. There is open talk of sex. And some quasi moralists are more offended by that than by graphic violence. Sex, of course, is part of life and is legal, but it must not be shown or suggested very clearly. Stop living in the 70's. This movie has the Muppet babies in it. That gave birth to the long running cartoon. I guess you guys were too old by then. The first movie was a novelty, the second was not as good as Manhattan. You hippies must have been pretty high watching those first two movies to think that Muppets take manhattan is inferior to those. This movie is big on relationships and you guys just can't relate. Excellent movie. It's a tie with the first one and better than the second one. Nuff said.

This movie was just outstanding and an overlooked and forgotten classic. The movie was just a fascinating look at the world of the Gypsies in America. A very young Eric Roberts shines as the grandson of the King of the Gypsies brilliantly played by the legendary Sterling Hayden. Judd Hirsh of Taxi fame is great as Roberts buffoon of a father who's jealous and brutish ways tear his family apart. You will also see Susan Sarandon and a very young Brooke Shields. This movie ranks right up there with the best of the best in my opinion. The costumes, the cinematography and the casting was tops. Combine all that with an interesting and compelling story and you have a classic film.

This a wonderful video which elementary school kids and adults can enjoy watching together. The animation style is very interesting and unique-- the series has a distinctive "look" which is appealing to kids. It's interesting to read here that a lot of parents are having their babies and toddlers watch lengthy videos, and then are surprised when the little ones find these images scary or overwhelming. Parents need to use common sense. There is also a great Miss Spider television series now out on DVD. Episodes are always based around caring about others, understanding their feelings, and being considerate. The characters are not perfect-- they make mistakes, etc. But in the end they learn important lessons about love, family, friendship, and how we should treat others.

I,m watchibg Alice Sweet Alice for the first time. I'm at the scene where she is hooked up to a lie detector after "Alice stabs her Aunt or does she? This is on top of my list of favorite horror films. This movie is very interesting. It's funny when alice drops the lie detector machine on the floor LOL, and the guy says "That little bitch is dumping your machine on the floor". Great film..i recomened everyone who like good suspence, horror and humor to watch it or better yet buy the DVD.
