Bottom line .. I found watching this a second time cured my aches from the first attempt. Just so you know, I grew up in church and have a strong faith which will never die. I really like and support Cameron for his faith journey and getting Lou Gosset Jr. involved was a coup. Besides, I"m a fan of the books so I'm certainly a reasonable source for constructive criticism. The first time watching the movie it seemed this was more of a sermon and testimony then an action/drama/thriller with an underlying testimony the books were meant to be. Always enjoyable Schulz material, although I could have done without the Abbott and Costello-like football diatribe between Marcie and Pepermint Patty. And once again, Charlie Brown is duped into trying to kick the football for Lucy. The opening segment is quite funny as Peppermint Patty tries in vain to get a gold star on her paper, and has Snoopy go under cover as a student while "Hans Hansen" finds out who took the gold stars. Finally Charlie Brown tries to place his managerial skills tothe test with Lucy in the baseball game. Charlie Brown watches as Lucy gets her first-ever single, and watches even more in vain as Lucy will not slide while trying to steal second! "In my desinger jeans? "

This was a great video, although a little choppy in areas. Two identical intro pieces is too repetitive, corrected ,however, by fast forward button. Linus is having issues with his blankie-good stuff. My little one doesn't leave the room without her "blankie", so she can definately relate to the "Security Blanket" episodes. Very cute, compact, and great to see my children enjoying the Peanuts characters that my husband and I grew up with. I hope yours will too.

My husband and I watched this movie weekly for several months when it first came out. I still find myself quoting lines at times. I hope things in Hollywood have changed in the last 20 plus years. But thanks to Robert Townsend this is a hilarious movie that I'm happy to now find in DVD.

I own the first WTs. And I love to periodically watch it. It seemed like a great send up of a classic film noir, but with a really good modern smutty feel to it. The score on both these is really effective IMO. Someone has labeled it "Trash of the Gods." I own this one too and it's fun to watch on occassion. Part of the fun is just vicariously living the life styles of the nasty rich, but also being glad you're not like that. If you haven't noticed this is not the same quality as the first, very straight to video, soft core, mostly unheard of actors. The two lead "sluts" look like leftovers from porn. Very rough faces, which no one notices because they're half naked most of the time. Great fun if this sounds like your cup of tea or you want a guilty pleasure.
