Let me say this first, if you do not like Michael Moore don't watch this movie. Also, if you are conservative and very pro-gun ownership, then you will hate this movie. This movie uses the Columbine shooter to jumpstart a discussion and investigation of the 2nd Amendment and why the United States has more gun related homicides than any other nation. Michael Moore is a card-carrying member of the NRA so he is not completely biased. I really liked how he went to many different groups trying to get all perspectives on this hot-button topic. He even traveled to Canada to see why they have such a lower gun-related homicide rate.

This movie will definitely open your eyes to the 2nd Amendment debate and make you question why people feel the need to own so many guns, when a lot of times ... Read More

I ordered a video from Amazon that I needed for a project the day before! With their 'rush service'......I was very pleased to have received the item the next day! To be honest - I expected the worse - but was pleasantly surprised to have received the service I requested! Package arrived promptly - well packed - and saved the day for me!

Even though its a little dated, the historical perspective only serves to make this documentary even more interesting.

Anyone who is a news or political junkie (or a political news junkie like myself) will find this behind-the-scenes look at The White House communications office and strategy absolutely riveting. It's CJ Cregg on steroids because it is an insiders look at actual events instead of a fictional representation.

VHS : AFI's 100 Years, 100 Movies: American Film Institute (CBS Television Special)
In 1998 two programs were produced at the time of the AFI's 100 "best" movies list. A three-hour program that aired on CBS is more anecdotal and star-studded. The item for sale here is the ten-part series that aired originally on TNT. That series broke the list down into themes, such as "The Anti-heroes," "Love Crazy," and "In Search Of..." The series was a more serious, scholarly look at the movies and is a good collection for film buffs who want an informative treatise on each film--with plenty of clips,--or the beginning film student who's pressed for time to learn the key facts and see the key scenes of a lot of movies. It's a very thoughtful overview and inspires one to see the actual films, but it can be compared to "reading" the great works of literature by picking up the Cliffs Notes. That said, I am ... VHS : The Rosa Parks Story
This film is one of my all-time favorite films. Angela Bassett did an extremely amazing job portraying the life of Rosa Parks. Every time I watch this film, I am amazed by how extraordinary Rosa Parks was. Sometimes I find myself crying because I know I could not possibly have done half of the things she did. I feel inspired to do the best I can in any way possible when I watch this film. The actor who played her husband Raymond Parks acted as the perfect husband. They were very compatible, and it made me appreciate the idea of compatibility. In summary, this movie is filled with courage, strength, love, passion and much more. I am very glad I purchased this film, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I am lucky enough to have this movie on VHS. Before Robert Downey Jr. just completely fell into a world of somewhere that seems to be the land of no return he was quick witted, funny, sexy and charismatic and his hosting the camera's adventure during the politcal conventions of '92 was actually brilliant! Everyone should see this movie. It rules!
