he only thing that I don't like about these Disney DVDs is that they're all SO expensive!!! Some new DVDs are 15 bucks, but the Disney ones are always 19 bucks +. I don't understand it. Can't a kid buy a Disney DVD for 15 or so bucks anymore? Guess that answer is NO. Disney's "The Little Mermaid" mostly takes place in the sea. Ariel, who is 16, is very stubborn and headstrong, and disobeys her Father, King Triton at every opportunity. I have always loved this play and had recently seen it done in a local theater. I took my sister and they did a great job. My mom wanted this for her birthday and when we watched it together I had forgotten just how amazing the actors are. Bernadette Peters is incredible! This is a fantastic play and I would recommend this cast to anyone!!

the movie echo of thunder, based on the novel thunderwith is put together very ulike the book. i am not at all discrediting the directer, but for those who have read the book can reflect very negativly towards the film. the characters seen in the novel are explored in extreme depth and detatil brought togetther with libby hathorns extensive use of colourful language. i reccomend reading the book as a runup of the movie. u will be highly impressed. Background: I've seen Pippin 3 times on B'way, worked as make-up artist for over a dozen regional productions, and taught the play for years as the culmination of a course on poetry. In its original incarnation, Pippin is a production rich in allegory and metaphor, both visual and verbal, which becomes more meaningful with each viewing. That said, executive producer David Sheehan's truncated televersion of the play cuts--no, slashes--so much of the production that it becomes devoid of both continuity and logic. First, the music: almost every number has a verse deleted, and one complete song (Catherine's "I Guess I'll Miss the Man") has been excised.
