VHS : The Incredible Hulk (Animated Series)
83 minutes in four episodes of the Incredible Hulk's animated series is just not enough value for your dollar. Buy this only if your child absolutely loves the Hulk and is too young to watch the PG-13 rated live action film, The Incredible Hulk, starring Edward Norton. Check my review of that DVD (good movie but absolutely not for little kids).

I game a similar review to the first animated DVD from The Spectacular Spider-Man, the new series from the WB. You should get more for your money than 3-4 episodes. In the case of Spider-Man, it looks promising that the entire first series will be released. So far, the Hulk hasn't had the same luck.

Also, please avoid the new Avengers animated DVDs. I made the mistake of picking these up without checking the ratings -- they ... Read More

VHS : Scooby Doo: Witch's Ghost (Clam)
We love Scooby and crew, but the series is supposed to be focused on humor, not on preaching in defense of Wiccans. There are several scenes here where Velma's character makes extended, and extremely boring, defenses of Wiccans as misunderstood kind-hearts. That's fine for the New York Times op-ed page, but it bores the kids. These Hollywood writers were so busy trying to annoy Christians, they forgot to write some jokes. Total waste of money and time.

3.Streamers starring: Matthew Modine, Michael Wright, Mitchell Lichtenstein, David Alan Grier, Guy Boyd

VHS : Streamers
Somehow it's almost terrible that every cover for Streamers has a picture of Matthew Modine on it. One even features him gray haired, looking like the middle aged guy he presently is. Because this isn't merely his film, or a showcase for his talents, etc. After all, with Robert Altman directing and David Rabe writing from his stage play-no slouches needing the face of a star to sell their works, this needs to be represented in a better, broader, more poetic way.

Like Coppola, Altman's 1980's were peculiar, a seemingly odd period; HealtH, Popeye, Jimmy Dean, O.C. and Stiggs and Aria come to mind as "those other Altman movies." He also made Secret Honor, another play, Sam Shepard's Fool for Love, the TV series Tanner '88, and Streamers, all interesting, distinct, good fare.

It took me nearly 20 years to realize this... Voltron is the second coming of christ.
sure, he may be in animated form, but he is truely the son of god. He exudes all the virtues of christ and even improves upon them. I reccommend you buy this video, it is like looking into the face of god.
