I somehow missed this one until now. What a gem! With such great acting, outrageously funny plot and exquisite music, no matter that it's only remotely historical. And with all its silliness, it also has some interesting character revelations. I've been collecting movies about classical composers, and this is now one of my favorites.

VHS : Son of the Pink Panther
This is not the best Pink Panther film that I've seen. I've seen The Pink Panther, A Shot In The Dark, Inspector Clouseau, The Return Of The Pink Panther, The Pink Panther Strikes Again, Revenge Of The Pink Panther, Trail of The Pink Panther, Curse Of The Pink Panther, this one, and The Pink Panther {2006}. This is my 9th favorite Pink Panther Film. It is not as good as The Pink Panther Strikes Again. It has a great cast. Roberto Benigni as Gendarme Jacques Gambrelli, Herbert Lom as Police Commisioner Charles Dreyfus, Claudia Cardinale as Maria Gambrelli, Shabana Azmi as the Queen, Debrah Farentino as Princess Yasmin, Robert Davi as Hans Zarba, Burt Kwouk as Cato Fong, Graham Stark as Professor Auguste Balls, Oliver Cotton as King Haroak, and Dermot Crowley as Francois Duval. That was my review.

VHS : Murder With Mirrors
I loved watching this movie "Murder with Mirrors" over and over....this tv movie of Agatha Christie was superb very enjoyable performances by great actors Helen Hayes, Bette Davis, Leo McKern, Frances De La Tour, John Mills, Dorothy Tutin, Liane Langand, James Coombes and John Laughlin. I enjoyed Frances performance as the housekeeper Mrs. Bellaver. The chemistry between Miss Marple (Helen Hayes) and Inspector (Leo Mckern) was superb as a comedy team guessing the manor house murders.
