I was allowed into the theater to see this when I was 14, almost 15, and the lady at the ticket booth said, "Hmmmm....OK." My friend was just over 16, I think, so he might have been underage as well. Anyway, I recommend this movie for anyone who likes 1960's period pieces. Love the music, the sunny innocence mixed with naughty naughtiness, the tongue-in-cheek performances, the high school upskirts, Angie Dickinson. Just another movie that makes you wonder why it has not seen the digital light of day yet.

Yes this is just a big soap opera, and most of the stories are just filler to set up the attack, but there is a strong feeling of a throw back to films of bygone days here that makes me like this even though i know it stinks. The attack last longer in this than it did in real life, and they keep leaping from it to some more soap opera filler that get very annoying after a while. The cast is ok but with all the corny line they have it's not really fair to say they are not good , they do what they can. I grew up in the 70's and these miniseries were a steady T.V. diet of the time,so some of my fondness for this mess is because it takes me back to younger days, and as such some will like it for that others will be less kind .

In todays hustle and bustle world, it's nice to occasionally relax and watch an old fashioned western with real "good guys". This movie is fun entertainment for the whole family and even has a little singing with Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson. I'm so glad we still have movies like this available on disc.

I saw this film in 1962 just days after returning from a tour of Italy. While not a classic film by any means, I was totally won over and was back in Italy again. Whenever I watch it and listen to Max Steiner's wonderful score I can practically smell Rome. It was titled 'Lovers Must Learn' here in the UK, and was never released on VHS here. I had to get a copy from the USA. I would like to add a plea to Warner Bros to release this film on DVD. It has a real nostalgia quotient attached to it, even more so due to the recent sad demise of Suzanne Pleshette.

I have not seen the orginal version of this movie, so I cannot comment on this as a remake, but I do like this movie. There doesn't seem to be much chemisty between the two main characters, so when they fall in love, it doesn't seem that believable, but almost everything else about this film is engaging. It's an enjoyable movie to watch and most of the characters are interesting in their own right and well-played by the actors.

I don't know how I missed this one for so many years. Great movie. I love Kevin Spacey so I expected to like this movie. This is just a fantastic, inspiring story. The whole "pay it forward" idea is something that everyone should think about in their lives. If every time someone does something for you, you can turn around and do something for someone else, wow, what a different world we'd all live in.

For anyone who remembers classic ABC TV Movies Of The Week, "Pray For The Wildcats" will always be THE classic one (along with another Andy Griffith masterpiece, "Savages"). It is my great hope that one day soon, "Pray For The Wildcats" will see a proper DVD release, and I'm sure it would sell thousands of copies. As for the movie itself; If you're reading this review, you already know that this film is genius, because you have seen it. So, please add your own review of "Pray For The Wildcats", and help join the call for a DVD release. And remember: "He just bought himself a long walk home"!........
