This is simply a wonderful production that will fill you with warmth every Christmas. The actors are all first rate, with Patricia Neal, Richard Thomas, the late great Cleavon Little, and William Windom doing a phenomenal job. I know it sounds cliche,' but they just don't make 'em like this anymore. I watch this right around the 22nd or 23rd every year with a fire going and it never fails to move me. Get this while it is still in active print...it is simply a wonderful film that you and your family will treasure forever.

I first saw this movie in a sci-fi class during college and loved it. Sad that it wasn't picked up by the TV studios. I would love to see/buy it again but it only seems available in VHS. Hoping that a DVD version might be released soon?

I bought this for my kids ages 3, 6 and 8. They are all big fans of Peter Pan. None of them cared for this movie-I was surprised. I have no complaints on the quality of the movie.

This is one film where you'll that the Rock sure can act. He plays a Army Officer named Chris Vaughn who has come home to find the town full of corruption and greed. Its a great film even though its rather short just running under eighty minutes. Here the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) starts to clean up the town and boy do I mean clean up the town. The plot is great followed by great action scenes, where he beats up the casino staff using a plank of wood. When elected sheriff by the town, he fires all the officers and gets one deputy in Johnny Knoxville. Johnny Knoxville plays as his best friend and is hilarious through out the film and makes the film even more enjoyable. This is a great disappointment from Disney and an overall terrible tribute to the original. The soundtrack and songs were likely put together overnight by aging vaudeville composers and an "I wanna be me" adolescent girl. The music is absolutely laughable! The movie has no entertainment value to young children and would likely bore the heck out of the rebellious teens it strives to identify with. An embarrassment!
