VHS : Groundhog Day
One of my favourite films. This has incredible one liners, great slapstick, Bill Murray at his best and a really strange but completely great premise behind the whole thing.

Superb.

This is the same edition that came out in 2004; it does not contain any new features. I looked on Criterion's website, and apparently the only thing "new" about this edition is the lower retail price. Still a great movie, so if you don't own it yet, now you can get it for less money. Very cool feature-length making-of documentary included.

Very funny. A family man clones himself to have more time. But it's never enough. Keaton made some great comedies back in the day. I miss Andie MacDowell too. There is quite a bit of sexuality in this one.

6.St Elmo's Fire starring: Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson

good looking, of course this was 22 years ago and Demi still looks good. But then again she should, billionaries should also look good no matter what and if they don't somethings wrong. Movie was ok, boy do I miss the 80's. More relaxed, no computers, the fun wasen't drained out of everything. Well, most of the actors went on to bigger and better movies and salaries. Its harmless, enjoy.

7.Greystoke: Legend of Tarzan: Lord of the Apes starring: Christopher Lambert, Andie MacDowell, Ralph Richardson, Ian Holm, James Fox

VHS : Greystoke: Legend of Tarzan: Lord of the Apes
I grew up with the Tarzan movies and TV show and read all the Edgar Rice Burroughs novels and this one, "Tarzan, the Legend of Greystoke" is my very favorite of all of them. The storyline and actors are all superb. You can't beat it.

8.Michael starring: John Travolta, Andie MacDowell, William Hurt, Bob Hoskins, Robert Pastorelli

VHS : Michael
I was especially moved by the short, but obviously meaningful relationship between Michael (Travolta) and the adorable server Anita (played by the boundlessly adorable Joey Lauren Adams). When Anita came out of the hotel room happily dancing in the early morning sun, it seemed as if something much more than sex - something wonderful and life-changing - had happened to her during her night with Michael. It was a very sweet moment in a terrific film.

9.Hudson Hawk starring: Bruce Willis, Danny Aiello, Andie MacDowell, James Coburn, Richard E. Grant

Hudson Hawk is a cult classic full of over-the-top antics and truly irreverent tongue-in-cheek humor. It pokes fun at everything and reassures us that not all need be taken seriously. The sight gags, unforgettable one-liners and cast of quirky characters has made this film one of my all-time favorites.

10.Green Card starring: Gérard Depardieu, Andie MacDowell, Bebe Neuwirth, Gregg Edelman, Robert Prosky

After purchasing this movie I guess I was a little disappointed after all the rave reviews I had read. But subsequent viewings did something to me, and while I'm still not a huge fan of this tale, I truly began to see why so many people like it. I would say that this is either an acquired taste or one of those films that must be shown to the right audience. To me, I never really saw the "romance" of it, and I think that is my biggest complaint. We see two people meet, have akward tension, hang out, and suddenly claim to be in love. I really would not call this a romantic comedy, either. However, what the film does have going for it is beauty. The Enya-infused soundtrack fits the mood well, and I enjoyed the interplay between the various characters.
