I needed to be able to swing my full-length doggie door out of the way, so I could lock/unlock my sliding glass door. These shutter hinges work perfectly. I can swing the doggie door totally out of the way so I have full width use of my sliding glass door when I need it, plus I can lock the door more securely vs trying to create a secure lock using the doggie door. I would have preferred the hinges to be painted rather than oiled, but otherwise they work perfectly for my application.
