In my job I do a lot of stuff that requires a person to cut, squeeze, and screw random stuff. Nothing is worse then getting to job site and realizing that you forgot the wire cutters, or screw driver and having to double back to the tool locker to get a pair. This tool has been invaluable in taking care of those little jobs that sneak under the radar but need to be taken care of. All of that and being so easy to carry around make it one of my favorite little gadgets. With the short throw & small size I bought this to get nails that are in spaces too tight to reach with a sawsall. With the battery recommendation to NOT keep it on the charger (you'll ruin it!), and that it will achieve full battery power after several uses, it sounds like this is a NiMH battery, not the usual NiCad or Lit folks are used to for a power tool. NiMH needs "special care" which ARE in the instrucions (yes! they are!) to get it started working well & long term. But they are weird if you aren't used to them. I charged 9 hrs before using. Then cut 2x4s to see how strong the cutting power is (no problem when held solid to wood) & when the battery would get noticeably weaker. I needed this for my bedside table, for my alarm clocks, cell phone charger, lamp, etc. It is perfect for little things like that. The cord is very short but for what I need to use it for that is okay. I wouldn't use it for anything other than something small like that. The main downside to it is that it doesn't have a flatter plug. Several surge protectors have that now so it fits closer to the wall, and since this will be going in behind my bed I would've preferred that. That is why it lost a star. Otherwise, it suited my needs perfectly.

I got this at a steal $15 at Big Lots! I really liked it the first time I used it. But there is a reason it is cheap, the small bolt which operates the vice is only half as thick as it appears in one section. The second time I used it it snapped off! If all 150 pounds of me can break this thing the second time I used it, i'm pretty sure it will fail at some point for everyone.

I work in industrial settings, and this is one of the few set of drill bits that have used that is long lasting. Most drill bits after a short period of use, are dull. These on the other hand are long-lasting.

I've had two of these for several years and just got another since the price was good. The hardest part about installing them was the hot weather. But I can't blame the manufacturer for that. If you measure properly and make sure that you know where your beams are, then it's a matter of making appropriate sized pilot holes so you can get the bolts in without killing yourself, but assure that they won't come out of the ceiling either. The Fein Multimaster sanding/scraping/cutting tool is one of the most flexible tools out there. I got my first one in the 80's, it was heavily used in my boat repairing business and still lasted 20+ years. I now have another one doing my jobs. The company doesn't rest on a good thing, they have kept improving an already outstanding product. We couldn't have easily done many of our jobs without it.

This cord lasted only 4 uses. On the 5th use it caught on fire and burned my $90 Toro leaf blower. On the packaging there are the words "LIFETIME WARRANTY" but when I contacted Coleman Cable they said that their warranty is only good for items that didn't work at all, not for items that failed after use (sounds like an excuse). So I lost $40 on the cord and $90 on the leaf blower. Stay away from this product and stay away from Coleman Cable!
