This saw works as advertised. Easy to assemble and use and not hard to handle. I use the provided small bottle to manually oil the chain after each usage. The batteries are interchangeable with other B&D 18v products. The only limitation is the usage from the single battery before requiring a charge. I have two additional batteries, so this is not a problem for me , but could be for others.

This knife I bought for my husband. We both use it when camping or hiking. The lockblade makes it much safer to cut things with. It is too big to carry in my purse all the time. It adds too much weight to my purse. I bought a pouch and my husband wears it. I believe Victorinox makes the best knives there are, at least for us.

I purchased this fireplace for my elderly mother who is always cold. It is a nice fireplace for the money. It heats a 22 X 22' room quite easily. My son has been using this item where there is no heat in his room. In the middle of the night he has to shut it off as it warms the room too much. I am not sure my mother can use this because you can't shut the flames off at night and it might not be easy for her to sleep with the glow. Another not so great feature is the on, low, high switches. They are located way down on the bottom and near the back leg. It may not be easy for her turn it off and on late at night, so for now, my son will use it until we figure out if it is worth giving it to her. The Skylink Sc 1000 worked fine, however, the accompanying sensors did not work properly. They either failed to link with the command module or they operated when I moved them in a certain angle. Setup was attempted twice with the same results.

I'm a N.Y.S. building inspecter and live with a flashlight in my hand, so I'm always looking for that perfect one.... I saw the Duracell Daylite advertized in Popular Science Mag., and thought I'd give it a try...and I wasn't disapointed. I own several 3Watt high intenity LED lights and the Daylite holds it's own with all of them, and the price is right. The light is VERY bright, and knowing it's made by Duracell I know it's dependable. Some of my fellow inspectors carry the old fashion Maglite, "C" battery type.....then they feel stupid when my little Daylite out shines their 5lb. Maglite.... haha

My heavily retro-insulated 1920 NH colonial is heated with base-board heat supplied by an oil fired water boiler. Living alone now, and seeing oil prices exceeding $4.25/gallon this summer, I decided to get creative with space heaters. After a lot of research, I bought a Big Buddy for my downstairs 12x24 office and a Delonghi TRD0715T oil-filled radiator for my upstairs, 12x12 bedroom. Both have proven to be excellent choices. To fire my Big Buddy, I drilled a small hole in the wall to the outside, just large enough to sneak the 12' regulated propane hose (accessory) outside and into a barbeque grill size propane tank. The smart strip is larger than I expected, but that is understandable with all the technology that is contained in this strip. It was very easy to setup and I just used another powerstrip plugged into one of the controlled outlets instead of buying the version of the smart strip that has more outlets. I wasn't able to get it to work with my AT&T U-Verse DVR, but just set it up to use my TV as the controller instead. I think I am going to buy these as Christmas gifts for family this year.
