I've been using this system for our 4 person family for over 4 years. While the filters are pricey, Amazon sells them for about the best price around. The filter comes with a one year battery powered alarm, however this may not be the best indicator since the longevity of the filter depends on the rate you use your water not the number of months that pass. It would be nice if Everpure had a gallon meter on the dispenser - THAT would be accurate! Overall excellent product.

We replaced a Dakota that failed [after many years] with the Chamberlain. It is less expensive and works perfectly. The biggest plus the sound is loud enough to hear but not annoying- I jumped everytime the other alarm went off!

I have a 15 year old Stanley opener with tiny switches and a 5 year old Genie electronic system and they are both programmed with this opener. A built-in opener sold by the auto dealers can cost over $400. Multiply that by the number of vehicles you put it in and it can get stupid expensive. This was less than $30. The instructions tell you how to program each button based on lists of names of different systems. It took some time to figure out which settings to use because my older system didn't work with the suggested programming and I had to experiment. I did get frustrated at the beginning. I bought this heater to replace one that used up to much electricity. I love the fact that the auto thermostat keeps it comfortable in my living room. The auto timer is also convenient when you don't always remember to shut it off before leaving the house...I would definitely recommend this as an inexpensive but great heating source.

For the price its a great deal it reduced the chlorine a great deal but it is still there. I actually poured a glass of water from the shower then attached the filter ran it 10 minutes and filled up a second glass to compare. If I had to guess I'd say its an 80% reduction. I would love something better but there is no evidence that Sprite or Aquasana work any better. All 3 are only certified to remove chlorine and any other tests are so called independent laboratory tests that every filter company boasts about. If one does come out at 10,000 gallon capacity that removes flouride for less than $100 and can prove it then I can justify the cost to get that junk permanently out of my system.

As a Christmas Tree farmer, my pruner is my primary tool. This pruner is a workhorse and the only one that any of our employees will use. In fact, I've never seen another Christmas Tree farmer use anything else. The price means nothing to me, as I've been using the same pruner for many years. Only the blade is changed.

The flowtron worked great with all the leaves that needed to be cleared up in our yard. It's a simple machine that chews up leaves, dry or wet, so well that I could put them back into the planting beds as mulch.

While this is a fine product, excellent military use in field conditions, it cannot be shipped to an APO in Afghanistan. I'm not quite sure about the logic in not being able to ship to an APO for a serviceman or someone else serving in a warzone. It's a United States zip code, the military will deliver it from there. It's not a sensitive item in any way shape or form and it's a sure bet that those receiving it will not be putting it into the hands of those seeking to do harm with it. Jeez amazon, get a grip and do a reality check here.
