This is a high quality fan. It gives off a powerful blast of air. The fan doesn't take up a lot of space, which is great. The sound that comes from the fan is medium volume, which is perfect. It's loud enough to block noises such as loud talking coming from the neighbors, but the fan is not loud enough to be annoying to you.

When I installed the new filter I didn't realize that we would go through a period where the water tasted "funny", at least that's how my wife described it. It took about a week for the taste of the water to return to normal. That was the only thing that I didn't realize when I replaced the filter. Besides that it worked fine.

What are my credentials for rating this? We have a farm, I rock climb, ice climb, camp and mountaineer and I regularly work on farm equipment, old Land Rovers and motorcycles. I'm a multitool whore. I have the original PST, the SuperTool, Wave, Victorinox Swiss multitool, Schraeder's multitool, Gerber Multi-pliers, Kershaw's multitool, several swiss army knives and the Leatherman mini. I am a retired Mechanical Engineer, having worked in engineering warranty analysis for the last 10 years using Six Sigma Black Belt training (used by many large corporations such as GE, PACCAR, etc). I purchased the Stanley MaxLife 369 Tripod and have used it 3 times in the last 9 months, the switch has failed and will not turn the light off. This type of infant mortality failure should not happen and is the result of defective components or defective processs controls. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THE MANUFACTURER HAS RE-DESIGNED OR CORRECTED THE DEFECT(S).

This is by far the most popular multi-tool on the market and should last for many years of use. It may be a bit tight when you first purchase it, but a little gun oil will loosen it up. Some have commented about the quality of the new Wave to be less than the original, but I would say that this is still a very well made tool. I like Gerber as well, but prefer the more solid feel of Leatherman tools. The one handed, quick access to the main blades is one of the best features of this tool. The metal is ribbed on the serrated blades release point to differentiate it from the straight blade. I do not use the included nylon sheath, but it seems of decent quality.

I appreciated being able to throw my body weight behind the IceDozer. Unfortunately, this item is not very good at removing a thin coating of ice. It just slides over the thin stuff without removing much of it It's great at removing ice that's thick-enough to have an edge that the Dozer can bite into. I bought this heater to install in the nursery so the baby's room would stay warmer overnight while the rest of the house went down to 60 degrees. The house has attic insulation, but no wall insulation, and there are storm windows. The good about the heater: It is unobtrusive. We have it installed on an interior wall out of the way. It is easy to install; it took about 10 minutes. It keeps the baby's room warmer than the rest of the house. I also like the fact that it uses less power than a standard heater. Not only is it cheaper to run, I have fewer concerns about overloading circuits. I like the fact that it has a paintable surface, although I haven't decided if I am going to paint it. This is the second First Alert Carbon Monoxide detector we've owned. The first went out in 6 months. This model went out in 1 month. The alarm kept going off. I moved a Kidde model into the room and it showed no carbon monoxide in the air. We chucked the First Alerts into the trash!

These are great! Makes the leatherman even more handy, without having to use a case etc. I like them. Just what I wanted. Real easy to snap on and they do hold, like premanent.
