I bought this to make more space in the shed that we use for storage of the family's four bikes. It works, but it is not easy for the average 5th grader to use. Application: Lift a 28 pound bike high enough to put another similar road bike underneath it. Make this easy enough that a 5th grader can do it. Result: 5th grader can accomplish this, but it is difficult enough that both she and her mother complain about it. Thus, the 3 stars. This unit makes the job possible, but not easy. Issues: 1. I like the fact that the CO detector/Smoke alarm are combined. I used to have them in the house separately. They work great, easy to install. Can't beat this price

Although I had read the reviews I decided to pick up a set of these on a recent Friday Sale. I figured for $10 shipped if they didn't work any better than the ones I find at the dollar store I would only be out a few dollars more, but could have them delivered to me. Even knowing that they were compact, the small box surprised me when I opened it up. I did appreciate that they included 9 mercury-free Panasonic batteries so that I didn't have that additional expense. After looking them over I am a bit worried about how lightweight they are and that they won't be weather resistant. Anyways I popped the batteries in (3 for each) and turned one of them on. I have used DeWalt drills for a long time now, but because of artiritis in my hands have not gone beyond the 12V. system. Larger drills seemed just too heavy for me to handle. I purchased the 18V. system because the price was terrific. After using the drill for 2 days on a decking job, I was quite surprised how easy it was to handle and how long the batteries held up. As with most DeWalt products, it is rugged and well-built. I just hope the batteries last a good while as replacements are very expensive.

This is a nice bucket. I use it when I am gardening, trimming trees, etc. I didn't give it 5 stars because as you fill it up, if you've lined it with a trash bag/leafbag, it tends to be a little difficult to get the bag out without tearing. Other than that, I think it's fine. I have purchased two of these - one for me and one for my mom!
