For those who feel this lightweight winder isn't durable, I bought one of these for my father for my parents' anniversary 14 years ago. It has seen them through house renovations, yard work, motorcycle repairs and a move, being mounted, remounted, moved and remounted again. It's lightweight enough that you don't have to strain to wind it and the cord unwinds perfectly every time. After all this time the piece that attaches to the wall mount is the only thing that is about to give way due to a chip of the plastic breaking off, giving the tool a slight droop as it hangs off the wall. I recently purchased the 56 pocket bucket boss tool organizer and am fairly happy with the purchase. The many pockets come in real handy. The only problem I have had is with some of the stitching on a few of the pockets where the stitching has come apart. I was hoping that it would have a little heavier stitching to prevent this. It's only been a couple of the pockets, but I've only had it for about a month.

I started using the Hoover L2310(GUV)garage vacuum immediately and it is so user friendly. The attachments that come standard with this unit makes cleaning a breeze. I installed this unit on the corner of my garage and the hose reaches all the way across with more feet to spare. The capacity is large, I haven't emptied the unit yet, but I did remove the canister with ease. Attaching this vacuum to the wall was quick and easy, as were the hose hanger. The unit is a little on the pricey side, but the benefit well exceed your expectation. WELL WORTH IT.

The flowtron worked great with all the leaves that needed to be cleared up in our yard. It's a simple machine that chews up leaves, dry or wet, so well that I could put them back into the planting beds as mulch.

This is by far the finest jigsaw I have ever used. It has a ton of helpful features such as a small blower to remove sawdust from where you are cutting, a quick-release blade system, a very nice carrying case and many others. Although it is tempting to go cheap on a jigsaw--some are available for as little as $40--you won't regret this purchase. I've been using this to cut 3/4" pre-finished oak flooring and it goes through it like a hot knife through butter.

When my mother's basement flooded and a lot was lost, I searched for a way to make the room somehow usable again. I found this shelving unit at Target and brought it home to test it out. I was pleasantly surprised with just how easy to put together it was as well as just how much it holds (180 lbs per shelf). The bottom shelf sits on the floor, so if you're dealing with any water problems (my mom's basement still gets seepage), I recommend purchasing plastic bins to put on the bottom shelf. When I returned to the store to purchase more, I found out I had to order the unit and pay shipping. I found the unit here for much cheaper AND shipping was free! I now have five in her basement. My heavily retro-insulated 1920 NH colonial is heated with base-board heat supplied by an oil fired water boiler. Living alone now, and seeing oil prices exceeding $4.25/gallon this summer, I decided to get creative with space heaters. After a lot of research, I bought a Big Buddy for my downstairs 12x24 office and a Delonghi TRD0715T oil-filled radiator for my upstairs, 12x12 bedroom. Both have proven to be excellent choices. To fire my Big Buddy, I drilled a small hole in the wall to the outside, just large enough to sneak the 12' regulated propane hose (accessory) outside and into a barbeque grill size propane tank. In my job I do a lot of stuff that requires a person to cut, squeeze, and screw random stuff. Nothing is worse then getting to job site and realizing that you forgot the wire cutters, or screw driver and having to double back to the tool locker to get a pair. This tool has been invaluable in taking care of those little jobs that sneak under the radar but need to be taken care of. All of that and being so easy to carry around make it one of my favorite little gadgets. The only con I have with these are that if they aren't maintained a little bit they get pretty gummed up and lose their spring back and it becomes a pain to get the screwdrivers and the awl out. That's the same with any multitool you'll buy though and can be fixed with a little oil and cleaning every so often.
