We wanted something that can be used to file the dog's nails and to use for other small projects around the house. This dremel tool is good for what we need. Only problem- it gets a bit hot when left to file for more than a second or two, so we need to be careful on the dog's feet.

First of all, I don't like chainsaws. So, I was excited to learn of this product. It works as advertised and makes me feel much safer during its use. I would recommend this product for those who want to get work done that until now has been strictly the domain of the chainsaw.

Excellent: small size that my wife will use, two batteries so one is always in the charger, plenty of torque for hard-to-drive screws. I've had no problems with the quick release feature.

This is by far the most popular multi-tool on the market and should last for many years of use. It may be a bit tight when you first purchase it, but a little gun oil will loosen it up. Some have commented about the quality of the new Wave to be less than the original, but I would say that this is still a very well made tool. I like Gerber as well, but prefer the more solid feel of Leatherman tools. The one handed, quick access to the main blades is one of the best features of this tool. The metal is ribbed on the serrated blades release point to differentiate it from the straight blade. I do not use the included nylon sheath, but it seems of decent quality.

This is a beautiful, useful, precision tool. I am an avid ocean boater, and I would never go to sea without my Leatherman. This particular model has possibly the most useful combination of blades and tools, including a ratcheted blade, which is invaluable for cutting seaweed kelp or tangled lines. If you use the Leatherman in a salt-water environment, it is important to knock all of the salt off with a fresh-water (and soap) rinse. If you do this you will get years of service from your Leatherman. If you do not do this, you still will, but the blades will tighten up and become hard to unfold until you work them loose. Keep it clean. This is a very nice tool and it makes a great gift.

This tire pressure guage is not accurate at all and it leaks air everywhere. I kept getting a different reading every time. No matter how hard I pushed and how I positioned the guage it was impossible to stop leaks from the valve. I took a flashlight and looked inside the tip of the tire pressure guage. There is no washer/gasket at all where it's supposed to make contact with the tire valve! No wonder it leaks air. I ended up going to the local auto suply store and picked up one of those old fashioned tire guages. It works like a charm. Save yourself money and don't get this piece of garbage.

This product is all well and good if used primarily as a screwdriver. However, I decided to buy this as it said it could be used as a drill. This is very misleading. The drill bits that you get in accessory packs are not hex, and they will require an extra attachment to work. I have spoken to Black abd Decker, and they were unable to tell me if such an attachment exists. Therefore, any drill bits that you buy with round ends WILL NOT WORK in this product. I even bought a drill bit kit from B&D which sppeared to have a hex attachment. However, this also does not fit into the PD600. Very very misleading product.

I bought this to make more space in the shed that we use for storage of the family's four bikes. It works, but it is not easy for the average 5th grader to use. Application: Lift a 28 pound bike high enough to put another similar road bike underneath it. Make this easy enough that a 5th grader can do it. Result: 5th grader can accomplish this, but it is difficult enough that both she and her mother complain about it. Thus, the 3 stars. This unit makes the job possible, but not easy. Issues: 1. I have used DeWalt drills for a long time now, but because of artiritis in my hands have not gone beyond the 12V. system. Larger drills seemed just too heavy for me to handle. I purchased the 18V. system because the price was terrific. After using the drill for 2 days on a decking job, I was quite surprised how easy it was to handle and how long the batteries held up. As with most DeWalt products, it is rugged and well-built. I just hope the batteries last a good while as replacements are very expensive.
